Complaint Review: Florida Auto Advantage - Hallandale Florida

 In May I found a limousine on their eBay site. They claimed this car was Beautiful & in great shape. I called them to discuse the car Zack told me the same. In great shape & no issues. They encouraged me to make an offer so I did. Then I was going to fly down to see it. They said I didn't have to that they would have it delivered. Trusting their word about the car I paid the $150 delivery charge. I'm honest & thought & believed they were. When the car arrived , I knew right away things were misleading. The man couldn't remove it from the carrier. Battery was dead. We jumped it , and he left as fast as he could. After a visuale inspection I found a ton of stuff wrong. Ac didn't work ( they claimed it blew cool & strong) Not! TVs did not work , solid & glass divided didn't work , all tires were dry rotted & over 6 years old. That just what I saw at 1st. Took it to my mechanic. Here's what he found. Engine was sprayed down with some slippery solution to make it appear shiny & new. Engine was a replacement & had a block # as it wasn't original. Never disclosed. So the miles he claimed are not correct. Battery was bad , altanater bad , powerstearing rack bad ( doesn't work & is a $1000 to repair ) tires bad ( paid $700 to replace) all windows leak water , back window , windshield ( water damage everywhere , under the seats , under the dash , everything rusted ). Leather roof pealed up in the front & back. Rust everywhere under it with visible holes right through the roof. Leather console in the font seat broke off , cruise control botton feel off in my lap. It doesn't work. Cadalitic converter shoot & rattling. ( illegal to seal a vehicle in Florida with a bad one) . I called & emailed to try to resolve some of this. No response. When I was buying the car they called or text me everyday on how to wire them $ to their account. When I text Zack the 1st day & said nothing works inside his response was about the dividers saying " I guess no hanky Panky till you get them fixed"?? Then after I sent one email again to try to resolve this with the owner , the suppose owner called to ask how I liked the car . Kinda like a customer service call. I said , you read my email right? He claimed he never got it. When I calmly went over thabove stuff he said , your mechanic is lying & just trying to get you to sell it to him for cheap! I mean really! My mechanic is not interested in this car in the least ! Then he said he'd have Zack contact me. That never happened. Since I bouthat this car it has sat in my driveway. It's a piece of junk & my stomach is just sick over this. Not only do I feel / know I was totally ripped of but this car dealer acts like they have no knowledge of anything. Yes I expect a used vehicle to have an issue or two. Not a ton & thousands of dollars of damage & broken parts. For the record , I didn't ask for all my money back but some sort of compensation or adjustment to the $12496.60 I laid for all the stuff wrong. No response. When the guy called the one time and said my mechanic was trying rip me off , I said ok , if you believe this car is so nice , please , you are welcome to buy it back. No response. He just said Zack will call you back. My wife is an attorney & we fully plan to file suit against them if they do not resolve this. Just unbelievable a dealer can do such things & sleep at night.
