(R.S.) When I receive (R.O.W.) letter I will update report. Do not contract Florida Patio & Sunrooms to install your windows. They are unprofessional & horrible to work with. We contracted them to install hurricane windows on our house 08/12/08. It is now 12/16/08 and although the windows are now installed, they still haven't passed inspection. The Manager Eric explained that the reason it did not pass was that I didn't caulk around the windows. The salesman assured me, that their installer (Joe) was the very best and a professional, (I thought they would complete their job professionally). So I spent Thanksgiving caulking around my windows. When I called back to reschedule the inspection, Eric kindly refused to pay the $25 or call for another inspection and that Florida Patio & Sunrooms was not obligated to do so. I called many other people affiliated with this company, even as far as the corporate office in Pennsylvania, but got no wear. The Manager and the installer blamed the salesman for poor communication, and me for not finishing their job, but refuse to admit their faults and remedy the situation. I am very disappointed, and would NEVER recommend anyone to hire Florida Patio & Sunrooms. At this point I have given-up and paid to have my windows inspected myself. Lane Palm Bay, Florida U.S.A.

I also had a horrible experience with them. They still have over $18,000 of ours and refuse to refund the money. We drained our savings to have a sunroom put in and they pretty much ruined our holidays. the owner should be ashamed of himself and I am on a mission to make sure that we get our money back but the owner be prosecuted. Anyone who has been scammed by this company should contact the media and an attorney.

This customer failed to mention that the part of the install that failed inspection WAS NOT part of the install per Florida Building code. It was trim work that was around the perimeter of the window, not the window installation itself. He also failed to mention that he told the installer HIMSELF that HE would take care of the caulking. Long story short we installed per code but homeowner didn't complete HIS obligation. Then wanted US to pay for reinspect because of HIS incomplete task... Its ALWAYS the contractors fault right?......NOT!
