Foreclosure Assistance ripoff, misleading Phoenix Arizona
I contracted Foreclosure Assistance to help with my impending foreclosure. They advertised a 100% money back guarantee.
I paid them $995 for their help they suggested at first that the plan be to increase my monthly payment until I caught up my delinquent amount.
They then said that Homecomings thought a better way would be to add the delinquent amount onto the back of the loan.
They then had to get and underwriter to approve this!
Needless to say this didnt get approved. When I contacted them to get my money back they didnt have a 100% money back guarantee. They said because I didnt get my $995 paid within a specified time and that I had a previous bankruptcy that disqualified me from the refund.
They should not advertise a money back guarantee if they dont mean it and I had to pay an attorney to do what they couldnt do! So I was out more than just the $995, but at least the attorney helped so my money wasnt pissed away.
I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. There are other ways to solve the problem instead of paying money for no service.
