To Whom It May Concern:

This is a letter of protest the way my claim has been handled. You sent Randy Traylor to inspect my travel trailer. I do not want this man back on my property, he is a joke of an adjuster and frankly I do not like his smart-*ss attitude.

The man has about as much know how to adjust and access the damage on a travel trailer as my seven-year-old grandson does. He is a jerk and if he handles everyone with the attitude he did with me he needs a lesson in how to deal with the public. He needs an attitude adjustment.

My first impression of him was the smart-*ss remark he made when I showed him the inside of my trailer and the ceiling damaged from the water. He smarted off and said I like the way you decorated your ceiling with the waves, you don't say this to someone filing a claim that is already upset about the damages.

I knew right then I had a joke of an inspector and the more he was there I found out just how little he knows about a travel trailer. The next thing he said that made me mad was I guess you know your policy does not cover water damage. My policy covers as much as I can put on my trailer, water damage, hurricane damage, wind damage and punctures from flying objects and falling limbs.

He climbs upon the roof and says I see you got Cool Seal on the top of the trailer, if he does not know the difference in paint and Liquid Roof he doesn't know much about roofing material. Liquid Roof is the same thing the rubber roof is made of that is on the trailer now. It is not painted on as Cool Seal is.

Then he looks at the back of the trailer and he cannot tell the difference from rust and puncture holes. My trailer was not leaking until limbs fell on top of it when Hurricane Claudette came through,. Rust holes leave orange spots and tears in the metal, not clear puncture holes that are still new and shiny.

He got up on the top of the trailer and jumped up and down and said the top felt like a metal roof. Then he tells me my trailer is old and the holes are worn through from old age and rust, he says I might get Wilderness to repair the back skirt on the trailer, and it should not have happened to as new a trailer as mine. My trailer is a 1993 and has been taken care of, it is fully loaded and looks like new inside and out. Aluminum does not rust through in ten years, and why did it only rust in one area of the trailer, that does not make sense. If it were rusted through it would be all over in different places.

He blamed everything on me, just said it was not damaged from the storm. I told him to take his policy and stick it where the sun don't shine and if I had insurance on the trailer and it didn't cover damages, then what the hell did I need Foremost for. I would write a letter to the Home Office and send a copy to the State Insurance Commissioner.

I expect another adjuster to check this trailer and if you don't follow through on paying for the damage I am filing a formal complaint with the State Of Texas Insurance Commissioner, and State Attorney General for Deceptive Trade Practices On Foremost And Farmers Insurance Group.

You jacked me around on my homeowners insurance and double my policy for no reason and I had to get another company, now I have been paying for a policy that is no good according to you.

I wished Texas had run you out of the state and never let you write any kind of insurance.

I am sending a copy of this letter to The Texas Insurance Commissioner and photos of all the damage and let him just see how you are still doing people wrong in the state of Texas.

I spent over a $1000.00 remodeling the back bedroom of my trailer and if it had been leaking as Traylor claims I would have seen the holes when I was inside and it would have been leaking way before now. I put in new carpet, paneling, painted and put in New baseboards. I put all new insulation in the ceiling, so I know the trailer was not leaking before Claudette came through.

You have 10 days and if I don't hear from you and you don't take care of the damages I am filing fraud and misrepresentation, selling me a policy you never intended to pay the claims on in the first place.

Insurance Companies are not beyond the law in the State Of Texas as you may think, when you sell something and it is no good and you know it, the law is for fraud and deception for crooks like you.

Damages are for three times the amount.

Enclosed Is The Deceptive Trade Practices Law #17.46

If you don't know about it I suggest you take a look at it.

What is it about ins. companies?

Don't know if this will make you feel any better. A few years ago had some roof damage. The ins. co. sends out an adjuster. Instead of coming to the house first, he goes down into the woods to take a picture of the house from a distance. He's down in the woods, THE DOG sees a stranger messing around in the trees and does what dogs do. It wasn't too bad of a bit and the adjuster admitted it was his fault for not coming to the house first. What is it about ins. companies?

Jose Montemayor Insurance Commissioner Texas Department Of Insurance Consumer Protection (111-1A) P. O. BX 149091 Austin, Texas 78714-9104 August 26, 2004 Dear Sir: I am sending you a copy of a complaint I have against Foremost Insurance Group. A Member Of Farmer's Insurance Group. I am very upset the way they are handling my Insurance. I have been paying for a policy for my travel trailer. We have never filed a claim until Hurricane Claudette came through. They sent an inspector by the name of Randy Traylor to inspect my trailer and this man has about as much know how about travel trailers as my seven-year-old grandson. He informs me my policy does not cover water damage, my agent here in Bay City told me I have as much insurance on my trailer as I can get, Hurricane, Water, Wind damage and total damage from flying objects plus replacement on all inside contents. The man did not not approve one dollar of damage for my loss on the trailer from water damage, what am I paying insurance for if they will not honor the policy. I had Farmers before on my home and they jacked the policy up double, I had to get another company. I feel like Farmers are still the crooks they were when they raised everyone's insurance for no reason. Please take a look at the letter I am sending and also take a look at the floppy disk of the damage and see if you can help me recover anything. I will file in small claims court if you are unable to help me; I feel like they sold me a policy and they knew they would not honor a claim. I feel like they are running a deceptive business scam, selling policies and failing to pay the people after they have received the money for the policy. Thank you for taking time to review this information
