Frank Sequeira marketed custom exhaust and turbo systems for motorcycles, primarily, KZ1000's and GS1100's. Sequeira marketed these pipes under the trade name Frank's Power and Full Throttle Racing. He had a website for his wares that has been removed from the internet. Sequeira was selling his wares on E-bay. He sold under several names and several locations around the country.

I paid Sequeira a total of $1754.47 for a turbo system for my 1978 KZ1000. This total was compiled of several individual purchases, two on Ebay and the rest to him directly on his paypal account totalling $1268.47. $486 was paid to him using postal money orders. These were dated March 11th ($286) and April 2nd ($200). As well, I had to ship him my turbo intake manifold which is valued at 195 dollars. Lastly, he still maintained on the last emails that everything was ready, yet he lacked the money to ship it since I had not paid him the complete shipping. So, I mailed him a postal order for $50 to cover the complete cost of shipping. I realize that the last shipping of $50 was foolish, yet, I want to remain the honest one in this transaction.

I would have gone the route of using Ebay buyer protection for the small portion purchased on E-bay, but the date we originally agreed upon for completion of the was beyond the protection period and he had quickly disposed of his paypal account and E-bay account. He made the excuse that he had no bank account so Paypal froze all his money. Then we went back and forth after other people who had similiar issues with him contacted me directly. Several times he gave me the indication that the system was ready to go and then weeks later he needed to help to remember what exactly I purchased from him. Sequiera was full of excuses ranging from economy to a sick wife and no insurance. However, these parts were prepaid. Thus, the money is in the bank----his bank.

I feel like a fool on this whole endeavor, yet foolish or not, I entered into this with the honest intention of paying money for product/service. During one period, I used a online motorcycle forum to ask if anyone had had any issues with him. He became very angry at this and threatened me that I would never see my purchased parts. As stated earlier, I was contacted by several other people who had very similiar issues with him. Unfortunately, I had paid the total cost for the system we had agreed upon prior to this information becoming available. I even went the route of offering to have my brother pick up the parts from him and setting up several UPS pickups at his home and workshop with no results. As well, first a land line was disconnected, then his mobile. Thus, no means of communication other than the email, send and hope for a reply.

Following the advice of another person that had similiar problems with Sequiera, I contacted the Peoria Arizona Police. The Police department was very helpful, but Sequiera packed up everything and left town. He has been seen as recently as a week ago trying to market his wares in Bend, Oregon on Craigslist. Seguria has a knack for targeting internet sales ads for motorcycle enthuiasts and motorcycle drag racers. He is computer savvy and will have no issue taking your money and dissapearing. He has generally left [email protected] as a contact email address. In Ebay, he marked under 2fast4u2get.
