Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

several years ago I went to Franklin to get an electrical brake installed on my chevy truck while in the shop the truck came back with a broken door handle from the inside where you couldn't get  out from the inside the door. it was working fine when I got there so when I got the truck back and I noticed I call the manager and told him what had happened he said he will look into it and he called the owner the owner came down and asked what was the problem I explained to the owner that the door handle had been snapped while in their possession  that it wasn't a big deal I could get one at the junkyard for like 10 15 bucks and install it myself I'll just bring them an invoice for the door. keep in mind that I was willing to get the part at a junkyard install it myself and just bring them the invoice . the owner looked me dead in the eye and said he believes I bring the truck in that way i said to him so basically you're calling me a liar and he said you take it any way you want .keep in mind that the year before and that year I did about 4,000 worth of business with them I own several trailers and several trucks. he didn't bother looking into what kind of customer I was or that I even had a business that gave him plenty of business before. He just looked at me to see that I was Spanish and he had to show his racial side.

They probably forgot  about this long ago but I've never have they have since lost my business I know it will not make them or break them. but for somebody who deals with customers all day I will know to look at a customer for what  type of business and not just who is standing in front of me and know that for a  10 or 15 dollar part would have been taken care of on the spot especially with the type of business I was bringing in which is now 4 to 5  times bigger.  I still now from time to time go there for small things the staff is great and management has changed and are excellent. But after what an owner did to a loyal customer. they lost the bulk of my business and other owners who are on my field who are also veterans. As a business owner  i will always know that the customer is the one who puts  the food on my table some company owners get too big and feel as though they don't need more customers are can do whatever they want including being racial. Unfortunately some people forget there humble beginnings and become snobs.

Firstly I am the Vice President of Franklin Trailers Inc. I would like to begin by stating I, nor do my employees care if you are yellow, pink, brown, or pruple, none of this matters at all. I would have been the person who my employees would have come to and I/we give everyone the same respect. I am not remembering any of this from "several years ago". Not too sure why after "several years" have passed that this is just coming up, but If what is being said is true there would be no reason I would not have taken care of it at that time. Each situation is different and, I/we have taken care of many things over the years that we either DID or were accused of doing for much more money than that. Nobody is perfect and given a chance to make something right I see no reason I would not have, especially for 10.00 or 15.00. If there is something I can do for you to make the situation right please let me know and I would be happy to do so.
