I Got an envelope in the mail addressed to me on 6/2/2012. It contained a voucher for a two night cruise to the Bahamas, plus if I acted within 72 hours I could also go to Las Vegas or Mexico!!

I called yesterday, 6-4-2012, and Tonya answered the call. She asked a lot of questions, "Do you need a vacation?", "Wouldn't it be great to cruise carefree to the Bahamas?", "Do you have anyone in mind to take with you?", etc., etc.

I asked Tonya how they got MY name. She seemed a little confused by my question, asked what I meant. Again I said "How did you get MY name?" she said that my name was chosen based on my employment history, past travel patterns, and client referrals.

I have not worked since 2007. I am a stay at home mom. I have not traveled outside of the US since 1999, and I haven't flown since 9/11. No one close to me has been on a cruise that I am aware of for at least 10 years.

As I was listening to her go on and on about the wonderful amnesties, not to mention the fabulous activities I could choose from, I googled the company and ship. That made her nervous!

I told her that I would have to check to see if finding a sitter would be possible. "well, surely you could find someone, you have 18 months!" I explained that I have three kids and my 3 year old is Autistic, so getting my inlaws to watch them for an extended period of time takes some coaxing. She then had a great idea- bring my 3 year old with us!! I'm sure that would be incredibly relaxing... Not at ALL.

She tried and tried to get my CC number. I told her over and over that I needed to check first with my inlaws. I swear, she told me three times that bringing my Autistic preschooler would be the answer, easy as pie. Seriously?

All they want is your money in my opinion. I'm sure that lots of people have had a wonderful time. But this is not for me. I am not crazy about giving my bank info out to begin with, but if I have to give it out without doing research, I get suspicious.

By the way, I saw pics of the ship. Not impressed! Looks old and beat up.
