I found the advertisement in Craig's List in Portland, OR. I contacted them and Damion Degiorgio returned my phone call immediately. We made arrangements for payment and for my furniture to be delivered to Redding, CA by Dec. 13, so it could be loaded onto a moving truck to Portland. It did not come. Damion told me that the trucking company would have to drive on to Portland and would be there by Dec. 17 when we moved in. It did not come.

Then, after many attempts to contact him (both phone mailboxes are always full), he finally called back and said that there were two shipments coming and I didn't have to return or pay for the second shipment because it was cheaper for me to keep it than to have them pay to return it (!), that the driver was IN PORTLAND, he was talking to him, and he would deliver the furniture that day. It did not come.

On December 20, I received a call from Bridget, a gal that Damion hired to help him, saying that the shipment had left Atlanta (yet, ANOTHER shipment - what happened to the other two were supposed to have been delivered?), she gave me the tracking number with UPS Freight so I could track the shipment. It was to arrive in Portland on Dec. 29. We cut our Christmas vacation short so we could be here to receive the furniture. I was contacted the week before by USP Freight to arrange for delivery. Dec. 29 came and went. It did not come.

I called UPS and they said that 6 boxes were shipped but they could not find 3 of them!!! I tried to contact Damion but to no avail. A week later the 3 boxes were delivered, but they have not found the missing boxes yet! So, after waiting for another week and no boxes, I contacted Damion and told him I wanted HIM to file an insurance claim and REORDER my missing pieces - I have a headboard but no foot board to my little girl's bed, side railings, and a chest of drawers. My little girl does not have a bed to sleep in! He said he would - that was Jan. 12!!! I'm an including my response from him in this e-mail:

"I am AND WILL send your remaining pieces. You are EXACTLY correct UPS are abunch of ^%%$%^$ idiots, and not to worry we have already cancelled ouraccount with them... I'll let you know when it ships.... "

I did not hear from him again until last Wednesday, January 28, when I finally got through to his voicemail and threatened to call the credit card company to begin proceedings for refund. He called back within 10 minutes, assuring me that the pieces were being ordered, wrapped in the Atlanta warehouse, and would be shipped Friday January 30 and that he would e-mail the tracking number of the shipment. I have not heard from him since.

I have called him and left messages (when the message box was not full - for both numbers), sent many e-mails and no response. My next step is to call the credit card company.

I'm disappointed, upset, and, duped. And, meanwhile,my little girl is sleeping in the guest bedroom while waiting for the rest of her bedroom.

My next step is to put a caution notice on craigs list here in Portland.
