On the first of January 2003, I recieved a phone call from Freedom Resource through Teleturf, Inc. (the telemarketing company they use)...I was given a detail description of their company offering....a Mastercard with a beginning credit of $2500.00...for a securing fee of $221.95 to be drawn from my checking account on the date I specified.

There was to be no annual fee, and I was given the customer service number, a tracking number, and a verification number by Eric, their representative....All seemed very professional and knowledgable....answered all my questions efficiently...

I was told it would take up to 21 working days from the draw of the draft to recieve my MasterCard and my signature card. I waited...

Sure enough, on January 31, 2003...a draft to Teleturf, Inc. on behalf of Freedom Resources was drawn from my account for $221.95.

I recieved nothing my February 14th, and I called, I was asssured that my information package and Mastercard was being sent out in the next Friday's mail.

By March 1st...nothing....I called again, and was assured it had been mailed, and should be recieving it any day.

On March 17, 2003...I called again...explained that I was now concerned, as I had looked up their company on the Internet, and had read bad reviews, and how others were experiencing the same delays and problems....I was THEN told that my credit card is only for the amount I paid into it...and not for the amount I already paid to secure it....THAT didn't really matter, as I have yet to recieve anything.....I asked for a refund...I was told that they would process my claim for a refund and I should recieve the paper within 7-10 days to request the refund....

Nothing....I feel that $221.95 is an absolute loss....This company has truly been deceptive and took my hard earned money without being honest. There has to be some sort of retribution for this....and a hard lesson learned....
