This rip-off so and so company contacted me back in September selling their credit card. I have been having lots of financial problems so a $2500 card with zero percent interest, free groceries and gas sounded good. I didn't have the money in my checking account when they were supposed to start taking it out in October, so I kept calling them to cancel.
They assured me that I was missing out on a great offer and that they would extend the time on taking the money out of my account. I had been given about 3 days. My last date was December 14. I got caught up in the Christmas rush and failed to call the credit union to put a stop payment on my account for the amount of $221.95.
When I called the company in January about taking the money, they informed me that I would not be able to get a refund until March. I called in March and they lied to me 4 times. They told me that the check would be mailed on March 7, then March 14, then March 21, then March 28. They told me that the Refund Department was behind in processing refunds. Each time I called I asked to speak with a supervisor and this is what she told me.
Now they won't even answer their phones. They are big liars.
I want my money back.
