Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Today my husband called me and reported that he had received two very strange text messages on his cell phone. One states, "Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am! My username's ttrouble..." and the next text message states, "Wanna come see if you recognize me online, at ttrouble.date-arcade.org. Well, hope to see you soon!"

Of course this was terribly alarming for me--imagine, if you will, here I am at work, just trying to get through a Friday, and I am alerted to the fact that some mysterious woman has left two text messages for my husband and has invited him to "come see [her]" online. I cannot adequately describe the emotions that engulfed me upon hearing this news: I felt confusion, both as to who this person might be and why she might be texting my husband, and confusion as to why my husband was receiving such messages--i.e., was my husband cheating on me??? I was thrown into a pit of horror, doubt, fear, insecurity...I felt so sickened and shocked.

I found the website online, www.friendjungle.com, which is a personals site, needless to say. First of all their catch is that you must sign up to view a profile, which I certainly did in my panicked state. I even found this woman named "ttrouble," and saw her picture. My entire day, up until only about 45 minutes ago, has been spent in agonizing torture and pain and questioning my husband. He had no idea who she was and no idea what this website was, he said, but I did not believe him for most of today. The uncertainty about whether or not my husband had been lying to me and cheating on me has taken up all of my emotional energy today.

I finally did a google search on friendjungle.com, and found that others had experienced the same thing--the bizarre text messages, the having to sign up just to see a profile, having to pay to send messages--I read of numerous scams. The one that struck me the most, however, was one by a man who had the same thing happen to him as to me and my husband...and now his marriage is on the rocks. His wife does think he is cheating on her and visiting personals sites, when in reality he is not cheating and only went to the site in an attempt to find out who was ruining his life.

I can relate wholeheartedly to his pain. I feel traumatized by today's experience--I have sobbed and cried and screamed at my husband and argued with him, and he has done the same. He is not one to cry easily, but all of this brought him to tears. He feels that someone or something was/is trying to sabotage our marriage, and I can tell you--it just about did. There were many points today when I said to him "This is over," and I meant it. I was about to leave my husband due to the thoughtless, careless actions of those behind friendjungle.com. I do not even now, after knowing it is not true, feel quite settled. I feel emotionally jarred and shaken. I can scarcely believe that anyone would set up such a cruel scheme--one that almost destroyed my marriage.

This is my first rebuttal on this site. I didn't decide to make it because I'm a friendjungle fanboy or something (I actually barely use the site, though I have met a couple interesting people there) but because it is incredibly unfortunate; it doesn't give me a remote idea of why it isn't worth trying their service or why should I even stay away of them.

I don't want to be harsh but... It just gives me exaggerated subjective opinions. Really, it's drastically guided by the writer's relationship issues.

I'm not going to say that firendjungle.com is the bomb, or that they're completely spam free or anything like that because they're not.

However, what shocks me about this review is that it seems to be made only for this lady's lack of trust  to her husband and vice-versa. I mean,  this woman not trusting her husband is totally not of my business, actually it isn't anyone business besides themselves. And that's exactly the point.

This review seems to be only driven completely out of a big jealous attack or insecurity regarding her relationship. I don't want to sound like a psychologist or something, but it's clearly stated that, sadly, this woman needs to attend to some couple councils or something, not to this website.

There isn't a single comment about the reliability of the social network, about its customizable options, the amount of people who use it (very important when it comes to rate a social network, 'cause you know... meeting new people is the main thing you'd want to do there).

I don't know about their spam methods (I didn't find the website through scam but via a friend's recommendation), and they sure have some spam users over there (as every other social network site:S) however, what I do know is that it's a fine and useful website for its porpoises: meeting people.

P.S: I'm sorry for the author if she gets it the wrong way, my intentions are not bad. This is just my opinion.
