I first came accross frys credit while purchasing a computer through Frys Electronics. The salesmen sold me on the great benefits of having interest free payments for 12 months. I took advantage of that based on my credit and received the benefits. 

 

I clearly did not know what i just got myself into. The individuals that work a Frys credit have no authority and if you need to address your issue with a higher individual, then they send you to voicemail. The customer service reps are extremly rude and do not care if they help you or not. 

First Electronic bank makes it very difficult for you to make payments. First, they do not accept any credit card payments only ACH. Their website crashes multiple times and for some odd reason your password stops working. If you are logged out of your account on the due date then they can not help you. You have to take the hit and get a late charge fee. They can not reset the password but force you to make a payment over the phone. When making a payment over the phone you get away from getting charge the $25.00 late fee but instead a $15.00 dollar pay over the phone fee. 

I have had it with their horrific ways and will not let this go unannouced. My bill for february was due on the 27th. I was locked out of my account and in order for me to pay i needed to call in. So i called in and waited 35 minutes over the phone until some one could assist me. When i finally got some one they took down my routing number and account number to run the transaction and they also waived the pay over the phone bill since i waited so long. 

Then i received a letter stating the below

Dear Blank,

Your recent payment on your Fry's Credit Account issued by First Electronic Bank has been returned to us unpaid.

Please send a replacement payment large enough to cover your current minimum payment due of $129.00 Please call us at 1-877-668-0662 to make other payment arrangements. If a replacement payment has already been made, please disregard this letter.

If you have any questions, please call 1-877-668-0662

Now, my minimum payments are $45.00 and i usually just pay $50.00. The $129.00 dollars is for two months with a Late fee and also a charge for paying over the phone. I called right away and teh girl saw that it was their mistake but not remove the charges. I told her that i would not pay them a penny until it was taken off. She said that the account needs to go under review and then i can make a payment. Even though the fault was on their side. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she told me that he is not available. The only way we can speak to a supervisor is by leaving him a voicemail. I went on to explain to her what type of scam they have their and how ridicoulous it their practices are. She mentioned that she has no power to change anything and she understands how i feel. 

 

If anyone is thinking about a Frys Elctronic card, think twice. They are the worst to deal with . A total nightmare. After i mentioned to them that the call was recorded they flipped and got very defensive. They hung up immediately right after. I wish i could upload the recording for individual to realize how awful they are with their tactics.
