Yes, we too, walked into this trap!! After two (!) fantastic phone calls and a look at the website we thought we'd get to go on our second honeymoon.

Usual story, please give credit card details etc. etc. First call they couldn't get the payment approved by the credit card company, so they called us back the next evening. After my husband (it is his credit card) give his approval, we got their invoice, stating that the amount due US$937,00 was paid in full and we would get our travel CD and 3 piece set of leather luggage within 2/3 weeks. Nothing happened, so I sent them an email asking them when they had shipped the above.

Got an email back, telling us that due to holiday back-log, it would probably take another week or so and that we would be contacted by the courier service they use.

As I use couriers quite regularly, this seemed a bit strange, to say the least!

Sent them another email today, which was returned as undeliverable and then I really started to worry.

My husband checked and we were extremely pleased that we had not yet been debited the US$937,00 by Master Card. We blocked the credit card and most sincerely hope that this is the last we heard about this.

People, PLEASE, if you get a call from Fulfillment International don't get exicted. It is just a big, huge, nasty RIP-OFF

Too bad, it could have been beautiful.

2 unsuccesful attempts to reach Fulfillment International

I would like to come back to my report of January 15. As mentioned in that report my husband and I felt very lucky that our credit card hadn't been charged for the amount of $937,00 (promotional charges) and we had blocked the card right away after finding out that we hadn't paid anything yet. After 2 unsuccesful attempts to reach Fulfillment International and a failed effort to reach their website, I tried to contact them a few hours later on January 15 and was very pleased to see that my emails went through and that the website too was "in the air again". It might have been that the server was down on my first attempts. Fulfillment International answered my email and told me that the promised vouchers/ brochures / travel CD etc. would be mailed to us, but that it would take a little while as they were experiencing a back-logg due to the holiday season. I had received a similar mail from them upon an earlier request. Seeing that the credit card was blocked we decided to wait and see what would happen. What did in fact happen is that we received a rather angry email from one of the people at Fulfillment who had read my report on your site. In this mail she justly pointed out that nothing had been paid yet, so "what kind of a rip-off" did they commit? She did have a point there! In any case I wanted to update my earlier report. Am still not 100% sure if everything is above board, but think it's a question of honesty towards everybody concerned to add the latest. It could have been a very nice vacation, but we will never know!
