FutureQuest ripoff, scam, Gilbert Arizona
In late 2002 or early 2003 I saw an ad on a bulletin board at my college. I tore off one of the tabs to look into the information on how to earn some extra money for college.
I went to the website and, as I found that particular service of no interest, I closed the browser. A pop-up ad for futurequest to earn easy money by mailing and addressing envelopes came up. I figured, that's easy enough, so I contacted Futurequest. The "company" sent me an application.
I debated over whether or not to send in the $39 check ("the one time administrative and materials fee"). I eventually did, and it has been weeks since I sent the check.
I am assuming the check I wrote will be cleared on my next bank statement. I still have the form I was sent and the original envelope. I will be wanting my money back!

You might try taking some basic common-sense into account before shooting off your mouth so prematurely next time. At the time of your writing, you say, it had only been a few weeks since you mailed in your check. Your bank, you indicated, had not even charged the check to your account yet. Yet there you are protesting already. FYI. It can take a week or two for the Post Awful, in some cases, to successfully transport an envelope across country to the correct destination. Atop that, most banks require at least 30 days to clear an out of state check. So, did your check every actually clear through your own bank. Dids you ever receive the goods from FQ? If you want your money back already, just a few weeks after mailing it, before hearing from FQ, then why did you ever send off your money in the first plae? You don't make a llick of sense in hell.
