Saw the vehicle we wanted and needed online and the price seemed fair. We live in central Oregon so it was a bit of a drive but we figured it might be worth it. When we got there it was pressure from the beginning and every "used car salesman" stereotype came true. First, we looked at the car that we saw online, and to our surprise it did not match the description. I called ahead of time to let them know my main requirement was that it had seating for 9 and the employee confirmed, but when we got there was only seating for 8! At that time I said it wouldn't work, but they kept on badgering me and assured me they would fix it. They looked on ebay and stated they could find a replacement 3rd row seat for $699. and to make the deal work they would send me a check for $700 so after the purchase I could just buy my own seats. I thought that sounded like a fair deal so we made the purchase. Now after we got home we noticed on the contract they took $700 away from the $1000 trade in and sent that to us which actually added to the cost! We drove back in from C.O. very upset and trying to come up with a solution, apparently we started making to much noise as the manager Trey assured me they would fix everything. after he spoke with his "manager". We had to follow up with him and all he could possible do was a $100 gift card which we have still not received. Also the 4wd did not work out of the lot and we keep getting error messages on the tire sensor. Over all a nightmare! One positive was Jeremy the mechanic was pleasant to work with but everyone else has been a joke. Please avoid this place at all costs.

I wanted to follow up on my last post from 1/8. Since that time Gage auto has contacted me to make things right. Joe was able to make contact with me and communicate that they really wanted to make things right and to my surprise they DID! Just a couple of days ago I received the check they promised me and they threw in a gift card that I was totally not expecting. I have been in the customer service business for many years and Gage Auto has proven they are a company that has integrity and even if things are not perfect in the beginning, they are willing to follow-up and make things right. A big Thank-You I owe to Joe and Gage Auto.

Let's see...it was obvious to you they lied to you right from the start and they treated you poorly. oh, it gets even better. You rewarded them by giving them the profit. Then there's STILL more!!! You don't even bother to read the contract BEFORE signing it! Incredible!!!
