I was side swiped by a client of this company . The Driver of the School bus insured by this company was driving a Portland Public School Bus full of children when he came speeding through the intersection after running a solid red light and then crashed into the front drivers side of my vehicle while I was proceeding through the intersection on a green light. Not only did the driver of the bus run the red light but, 4 other people witnessed this while it happened. The driver hit my car which spun 180 degree and was launched into the curb after the side door airbag deployed. The driver never had any communication with me and didnt even stop at first, he just kept on traveling another block or so further before deciding to stop. The Bus Supervisor came and did all of the communicating for the driver and she gathered all my info yet failed to give me any of theirs. All I had the pleasure of getting was a photo of the drivers license but, nothing in regards to the insurance or the vehicle plate/vin, they offered none of those things and then I had to have my own car towed then stored and when I finally did hunt down the insurance company they were rude, uncooperative, did not offer any sort of reimbursment, and made little effort to do really anything but tell me they were investigating the accident for month after month. They made little effort to contact the witnesses, they failed to keep in contact with me unless I made the initiative even then they wouldnt respond until I made attempts to contact other Representatives in complaining. I still havent heard back after I messaged them in regards to them informing me to move the vehicle to a place so storage cost are not accruing because they would not pay unreasonable cost. I then paid for a second tow of the vehicle to now my home where it is sitting with damages to the side and not driveable . I had to pay for the storage cost it had incurred when it was towed so far, they have paid nothing and offered nothing . The car isnt even that expensive they had me pay for a estimate which was under 5000 barely and then claimed they had to send their own guy which took weeks to show up and then after I didnt hear back from them. When I do try and ask them what is going on and to respect my time as this is a very simple to handle case and is very clear at who is at fault, they offer no reimbursment , they ignore my request and have taken no responsability for the damages to my car. I was informed by a number of people that it should not take this long and they are very unproffessional and sound like I they are trying to get out of covering the damages of their client. I want to warn people who have to deal with this company as well as considering using this comapny services that be careful they are shadey and very unproffessional not to mention very rude and do not handle their claims properly or efficiently let alone at all. They do not take responsability for their clients and are all around no good . Dont pay for their services they are horrible.
