Garcenia Advanced Cleans Pro Cancellation scam Santa Ana California, internet
After responding to an ad to try the "amazing results" reported from using both the garcinia cambogia and cleansing products together -which, I might add, had absolutely no effect on my weight management program - I then cancelled my "subscription" well within the alloted time.
Imagine my surprise when I then received another shipment totalling over $130.00 for the two products a few weeks later.
I was further thwarted in my efforts to manage this situation by "phone volumes larger than usual," and put on hold for 15 20 min. and then disconnected. Another ploy was to say that I could leave my number and they would call me back by the "first available representative," who, of course, never called back. There were no contact numbers, e-mail or web addresses on the packing slips, so I had to go on-line for everything I found. Now, I can find nothing at all.
Finally, I filed this report and called my credit card company who agreed to reverse the charges back to them. They also advised me to just cancel my card and get a new one as these scammers will just repeatedly bill anyone whose card number they get and it is a major hassle every month to keep up with them, so that is what I did.
Ugh!
