I placed ONE order with Gardeners Chioce for tomatos and a eco friendly bug killer. It took over a half an hour to just get through the call because they were trying to sell other goods and services which I declinded all of them. Not only did I get charged for my first order but I am getting charged for things I didn't order!! I am getting charges taken out of my account for the third time! I did NOT get an invoice with my order and I also didn't recieve the bug killer that I ordered along with the order of tomatos! I can't get through on the phone. So far today I have tried 50 times between two phone numbers and I will keep Trying!!! I will also write an email as well. They have got about 60 bucks from me for one order of 10 dollar tomatos and the 10 dollar bug killer that I did NOT recieve!!! I called my bank today and there is yet another charge to my account and I haven't ordered anything else!!! I will also report them to the BBB if they don't fix this or if I can't get someone on the phone to help me! I am going to keep calling to see if there is a live person or if their costumer service line doesn't keep hanging up on me or if it isn't busy for hours and hours! I am going to have to cancel my bank account card and get a new one because I don't know if they will keep taking money out for services I DID NOT ORDER OR ASK FOR in ANYWAY! I DID NOT give them my approval to add ANYTHING ELSE to my account!!! It also bothers me that I didn't get a invoice for what I did order in the box I did recieve!! If I can't get in touch with a live person in a timely manner I am going to have to go to my bank an file a disbute about these charges. I am disabled so this won't be easy because I do not drive. All over tomatos! This is really obsene!!! My daughter was going to plant them so we can make fried green tomatos and have tomatos this year for him to take to work as well. Now I am just fried!!! I am very disgusted over ten dollar tomato seeds that I we wanted to plant this year!!! Get your seeds somewhere else because you won't get them in time and they will take money out of your account and you won't know why or when they will do it! Then you won't be able to get a hold of anyone when you try to call on the 2 phone numbers I have for them!!! One bad tomato has REALLY spoiled The whole bunch!!! Those ten dollar tomato seeds have so far turned into about 60 bucks! I neber did get the eco friendly bug killer!!! Still trying to get a hold of someone.

Just wait for it to come out in the stores at half the TV price NOTHING IS EVER FREE in these bogus offers - you pay for everything including the over-priced shipping. When you wait and buy them in the store, you save shipping and handling and these bogus overcharges... I just saw the Gardeners' Choice ad on tv. I hate ordering on the phone because they always try to sell you more stuff, so I went to their website. After checking Ripoff Report, I decided not to order. I Did call A number that I saw on this website from another report and I indeed waited a short time and got a Real person Named Candy. Candy said "She would put in for a refund for the items I didn't order". I stated the fact that I didn't recieve an invoice for anything that was ordered and I asked why. Candy said "she didn't know why." I then asked if I can have an invoice of what I did order and a statement of what Candy and I talked about, (the refund of what I didn't order). Candy said, " she would have to ask her supervisor if she could do that." I also told her about the automated call and how long it took to get through. She told me that she does catalog orders and the automated calls were their affiliates and she had nothing to do with them that she just handled catalog orders. She told me if I ordered through the catalog that this mess could have been avoided. I told her that The first time I heard of the tomatos were from the TV advertisment. She again said that is their affiliate. She told me the best way to order is through the catalog but everybody wants a deal. ??? I told her again that I didn't know there was a catalog that the first time I heard of them was from the advertisement I saw on TV. She again told me that everybody wants a deal so they call those numbers, (their affiliates) and that's why I have problems and she was cleaning up that mess! I asked for a customer rep. supervisor that I could speak with to further explain how un-happy I was about them not giving me an invoice and an explanation of the charges that were taken out of my account without my knowing or saying it was ok! She has a supervisor she could have gotten me in touch with because she said she had to ask if it was ok to send me an invoice of the charges and of the refund she said she was going to "put-in for". She stumbled over her words, didn't want to give me an answer to my questions told me there were other customers on the line holding that she needed to get too. She said "that she took care of what she could take care of " (looking into a refund for what I didn't order) and that they had my email address so if she was aloud by her supervisor to send me an invoice that she would email it to me. She couldn't answer why I didn't get an invoice, or why my order wasn't all taken out the same day I ordered it. She couldn't tell me why I was charged for things I didn't order and why it was taken out of my account without me saying it was ok too. I asked her if I didn't listen to the whole automated call and answer no to all the other "deals" that were on the very long automated call that I could have been charged for hundreds of dollars in goods and services that I didn't want and other people could have been to she said "it is possible!" I told her that it wasn't a very good way to practice good business and she said "all she does is take catalog orders." You would think that they would choose their affiliates a bit wiser. Even If I do get a refund of what I didn't order, I still want an invoice explaining what I did order and what it all cost me!!! I didn't know that this automated call was going to have so many offers that it would take about 30 minutes to get through! I ordered the ten dollar tomatos then gave my account INFO.I thought I was done, then the offers started! So being that they had my account INFO. I had to listen to the whole call and answer no by pressing zero on my phone key-pad or I could have very well have been charged for hundreds of dollars by their "affiliates" if I just hung-up after getting the ten dollar tomatos!!! I will NEVER order from an automated call again!!! They should have said that you would have to listen AND answer NO to ALL of the other "affiliates" offers before taking your credit card Info.!!!! There isn't a way to stop the call from going on and on so you can just take your tomatos and run either!!! Candy didn't seem very pleased to be speaking to another call like mine and said if I would have ordered from the catalog I wouldn't have had to go through this and that the prices in the catalog aren't a "deal" like the one I called about on the TV. Until I saw the offer on the TV I had never heard about their catalog tomatos!!! She (Candy) made it seem like it was my fault because everyone wants a "DEAL"!!! $62.83 for ten dollar tomatos is a BIG deal! I never wanted to start a small farm, I just wanted a few tomato plants!!! When you call and want to buy something DO NOT use an automated call like this!!! They can charge you for what ever they want to and really there wouldn't be much you could do about it if there wasn't a site like this!!! I will let you know if I do get refunded my money and if I do get an invoice. I was able to speak with a somewhat live person whom I hope will do what she said she was going to do. Being that I did get a live person there could be hope!! The number I called for a Live person: 1-269-621-2447
