I want to report GC Services for entering my bank account without my authorization and withdrawing money.  I lost my job in 2009 and started working as a temporary employee in 2012!!!!!  I have been struggling and living with the support of family and friends.  Now in 2013, I am still employed by a temporary employment agency.  I am aware that I owe money, but I am still trying to get back on my feet.  I am not able to make payment arrangements or any type of payments at this time.  GC Services violated my rights.  I have never spoken to these people, and learned about them after finding out about their withdrawal.  Is this legal?  I lost everything I had, I have nothing left, only my will to get back on my feet.  I wonder if they have done this to others.

You two current and or former employees must be on crack. You know that GC Services/USA Funds both operate outside normal debt collecting guidelines. If you don't believe it, there's 191 reports on this site alone by people who ALL are reporting the same experience with this company. You threaten, harass, lie, manipulate and break the FDCPA rules regarding debt collecting. The "garnishment" order that was sent to my job was FRAUDULENT and my employer KNEW BETTER than to respond and allow them to garnish my wages. GC Services attempted to send the same FRAUDULENT "garnishment order" again to my employer. We had a turn over in our HR staff and the order was honored. I am in the process of getting EVERY SINGLE DIME of my money back.

I never received any communication from GC Services before my wages were garnished, not by mail or phone, the address and contact on my promissary note is the same as it always has been so they violated my right to request a fair hearing. It may seem like it's impossible but if you keep pushing and don't take no for an answer or let these petty thieves bully you, you WILL be able to come out on top.

Although i am currently employed by GC Services, it is not my intention to defend them.  What GC is doing is legal and they are protected by the federal government for doing what they are doing. GC is hired by Federal Student Aid/American Education Services to collect the money YOU borrowed for school and YOU signed for on a promissary note that clearly states that if the loan were to fall into default-you are responsible for payment in full. YOU signed this. It also says that your wages can be garnished up to 15%. Stop being irresponsible.

These are facts. You can even go to student aid website or federal government education loan services and they will refer to GC Services. GC Services can help you get out of default and all people do is cry about it like GC is the bad guy.  GC is doing what they were hired to do- which is collect the money that YOU borrowed and promised to pay back. Btw there is no way GC can withdrawal from your account without you giving them the information. GC has so many policies and procedures that it is absolutely impossible for GC taking money from your bank account without you giving permission and the information.

#4UPDATE EX-employee responds

I understand that you may be having difficulties, but as a former employee of GC Services i can tell you that your story isnt making any sense. GC Services is a third party collections agency, and none of the employees know who you are, A name and account number pops up on their computer and their headset starts ringing until you answer. Now you say that youve never talked to a representative from GC, yet they tried to remove funds from you bank. If youve never spoken to a representavie then they wouldnt have any of your account info. The screen that has your name and account number can be used to access more detail such as car (year, make, model), your address, call history (between GC and you). However, GC wouldnt have access to your bank account, unless you provide that to them.
