GCI The company is the only provider in this rural area of Alaska. The services provided are very costly to all the consumers here and GCI is taking advantage of us since there is no other provider in this area. Most customers pay over $500 per month for cable, cell phone and internet. Bethel Alaska
Rip off for GCI in Bethel, Alaska area. GCI takes advantage of customers because they are the only provider for this rural part of Alaska. We get dropped calls alot, most small villages dont have access to 3G and internet on cell phones. Very expensive services for cell phones and especially internet and cable. The fees for cable boxes for the homes have doubled in price per month. Not all current deals are made available here in rural Alaska.
