On Feb 18th I was working with a dealer to trade in my car because I need a larger vehicle because of just having a child.  On Feb 19th I was hit by a Geico customer on the freeway.  After the impact the lady tried to leave.  I was able to get her license plate and have the police track her down and get her insurance info.  After she told the cops one story and the insurance company another if finally came up a month later that Geico agreed to fix my car.  They fixed the car but now are refusing to give the value that i lost because the car has been in a car accident and they no longer want to give me the same value for my car because of the car.  Geico says that there is no loss in value even though the dealership said that they will not give me the same value.  I have spoke to the local rep and his supervisor and they both say they can't do anything.  When asked for another supervisor over both of them they refused and said that they make all the calls for the state and they will not give me a name or number for their boss. This is another example of an insurance company that wants to bill you as much as they can but never pay out when it comes down to it.

They are SCUM and the bottom of the barrell.  If I hit someone and it was my fault I would expect my insurance company to pay out and make things right.  But then again I have a very good insurance company and by reading the reviews of Geico they are nothing but terrible and do not want to ever pay claims.

Im sorry to tell you this, but that is NOT how insurance works. YOU are either intentional ignoring the facts or you are ignorant of the process. I dont know which it is. The insurance company can pay out ONLY what the insured has purchased. There is no "unlimited" amount. In fact it is VERY limited. MOST of your liability insurance only covers between 15-30k and that is the LIMIT of what they can payout. IF your vehicle had more damages then the MINIMUM amout that the driver had purchased, then you have to go after the driver themselves IN COURT!! To hold the insurance company responsable for the actions of the driver is silly and petty on YOUR part. That tells everyone who reads your post that you just want THEM to do it all. Im 100% sure  the adjuster would have told you this information as they tell it to EVERYONE!!! If there is more that needs to be taken care of then you have to go after the driver.

THE INSURANCE COMPANY WILL ONLY PAY OUT WHAT THE INSURED HAS PAID!!! PERIOD!!!! Even your own insurance will pay only so much, if you do not wish to believe me then go to your insurance agent and ask THEM. THEY will tell you the same thing. Stop blaming the insurance company. YOU have ASSUMED and when you assume you do so at your own risk. YOUR issue is that you THINK the insurance company should pay it all. Probably from watching TV or maybe someone told you the wrong information. It still wont change the FACTS.

YOU have to go after the driver that hit you. YOU have to retain an attorney to do so. This wont be small claims court. Yes you got hit and it looks like the insurance company DID THEIR PART. Stop being a lazy little whiner and get off your rump and do YOUR part. You are blaming innocent people.
