GEICO IS VERY, VERY DECEPTIVE AND CORRUPT.  GEICO does not tell you that they will raise your rates EVEN THOUGH THE ACCIDENT WAS THE OTHER GUY'S FAULT!!!   This happened to me TWICE within a nine month span.   When I confronted geico about raising my rates even though both my accident's were the other guy's fault, the rep gave some idiotic lie that was obvious his bosses told him to say whenever there was a customer complaint.

Finally, I was able to sell my car.  I told geico that they would make restitution to me or else I would no longer pay their corrupt outfit.   So I never paid another premium.  The thing is that geico has been getting away with this practice for decades and been concealing from the public.  So much for the regulators:  they do nothing.  We get ripped at least TWICE:  by the insurance company and our tax dollars pay the salaries of braindead bureaurats who do nothing and complain about how hard they work.

Another sad part is that, in the '90s, Travelers beat geico's rates and I went with them.  When I pleaded with them in 2003 and 2005 to beat geico's rates again, Traveler's said it would be a long, long time before they could compete with geico.   I doubt that seriously.  So sad.

No, I did not use a credit card, but thanks for asking.  Based on what I read here, geico STILL CHARGES YOU after you cancel, MAKING UP A LIE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE PAID IF YOU HAD AN ACCIDENT!!!!   I mean, no one falls for that.   It's even worse now.  Used to be, if you had an accident, you could get your car fixed and they would charge the insurance company.  Now, the insurance company drags their feet.   THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY.  WHAT!!  When, with costs going way down with the use of computers, they make up LIES saying it costs them to insure you.  Then stop insuring foreigners and stop giving them driver's licenses { and allowing illegals to drive illegally }.   I feel sorry for drivers now.   If you don't pray for protection, you will KILLED by an illegal immigrant or a muslim whom is driving drunk or on marijuana.   AT&T does the same thing:  STEAL from your bank using your credit card number and/or your social security number.

My friend, the same was done to me that was done to you.   I have started riding a bicycle.  The commonwealth and the insurance companies will burn forever in Hell.  The states FORCE the insurance companies to demand your social insecurity number.   Burn in Hell forever and ever ane ever.

Policy rates change-just a fact of life. They can change when a car gets older-or some fancy equipment is added to it.

It can change if an accident occurs. A good 99 1/2% of all people that have had an accident deny it was their fault. Just a fact of human nature. About the only was someone is no to some degree at fault is a direct hit in the rear. All states have some form of negligence guidelines. Sometimes it is called Pure Comparative Negligence, Somtimes it is called Contributory Negligence. In pure comparitive negligence, a driver can be held 1% at fault. Which means that you can recover only 99% of your damages. And your rates will probably increase. In some states that have Contributory Negligence, you can be 49% aat fault, but still recover damages-51% or greater and you get nothing. And that can Still raise your rates.

I do not know what your state has for the Negligence Threshhold. It is probable that you were held at least 'Somewhat' responsible for each accident. Once that amount is assigned, no amount of screaming or letter writing is gong ot change it.

Just cancel your policy and go elsewhere.

Your rates have, have have gone up if you made a claim.   Better compare your bill to previous bills.

Well I have had Geico for years and never had an issue. Rates have not gone up and they have taken care of claims promptly. And no I am NOT an employee.
