Why do google allow this company on their search engine ?

I too have had a terrible experience with this company.
I was interested in a nice ruby on their site. It seemed very cheap compared to rubies on other sites so I emailed them and asked if it was natural.

I received a response from Gemselect saying all their stones were natural.
I ordered it but I also ordered a CERTIFICATE as they said the stone would be tested by a gemologist guaranteeing its authenticity.

I received the stone and the certificate saying the stone was 'natural'.
Unfortunately this was FALSE. My jeweler raised the alarm when he told me that natural rubies were very hard to find.

So he examined it. Guess what ? It had apparently been artifically injected with a chemical.

The chemical was called BERYLLIUM and it is used to make poor quality bad gem stones look good, so they can be sold. It was virtually worthless.

I had been triced and lied to. Further the CERTIFICATE was therefore obvioulsy bogus. I had paid a further 20 dollars for the Certificate ! It seems the entire basis of Gemselect is based on fraud.

I have contacted Google to let them know about Gemselect. It is shocking that this company is still brazenly advertising their artifical stones as natural and people are being fooled into buying them.

Be warned.

I know your upset that you think you ruby isnt natural cuase its (be) heated.  But techically it is cuase the actual corundom came from the earth and wasn't lab grown. The is a difference between it being natural and untreated, and it seems like you are mixing up the two.  As far as the the certificate goes, and the website did it say BE heated cuase they seem to disclose the treatments on their site just fine to me.  Also I am curious to know how your jewlwer would know it is be heated since it takes a gemologist with equitment to do tests.  It sounds like to me your jewler is just trying to get you to buy from them.  How much did the ruby cost by the way?
