I bought GE gas range. After installation, it always produced a "gas" smell.
The oven glass and oven handle broke almost immediately after installation. These were repaired under warranty, but the handle is always breaking (stopped fixing it).
After a few years, the oven would not ignite. Upon investigation it was determined that ALL of the gas connections below the oven were extremely loose (less than finger-tight); and the oven igniter had burnt up.
ALL "ON-BOARD" gas line connections on the unit were evaluated and corrections made to most of them.
