I wrote up a report a while ago but the designer went under the name Richard Kotsovos. He designed my logo and website and photographed the merchandise.

Hired him a couple months ago to design a website and a logo. He quoted a price and a time line. When I agreed he became extremely panicky and wanted the entire sum up front. I normally don't do things like this but he explained he was having some money problems.

I have been working with George Kotsovos for 5 years now. The quality of his work is outstanding. I was really surprised to see anyone would have such a strong complaint. His design is extremely creative and has always been able to produce in a timely manner.

Hired to create an invitation for a high profile event. He gave a quote of $300. and asked for a PayPal payment before he began work. He agreed in writing that the invitation design would be print ready by January 22. I gave him clear directions that it needed to be future directed with images about the future of education. He returned an old fashioned desk photo and an apple he found on stock photos. When asked to come up with something different, wanted us to choose the image from stock photos. We did this and then he refused to provide more than one direction. After sending numerous emails trying to guide his imagery, he said he was too busy doing another project and asked for an extension with a new concept. He didn't provide a new concept on the day he said he would. I had to contact him again. Days passed and with the dealing coming we still had not seen anything. I asked him for a refund since it was clear he didn't have time and he began complaining how it took him hours and hours to find the stock photos. He refused to give refund, refused to take direction. He acted defiant and stubborn saying that it would have been on time if we hadn't changed it according to our tastes. He tried to convince us that the images he was giving us would work. An apple and a desk and colored panels didn't suggest the future of education. When asked where the design was, and threatened with fraud since he was not returning calls, he said he was working hours and hours on a simple design. He gave a stock photo of Barak Obama and an Apple. When asked to move something, rather than simply do it, he complained at how hard it was. No creativity, no listening skill, no collaboration, no work ethic. When he saw this post up here, he emailed me and threatened to ruin my name on the internet although he has done no legitimate with my business which is not related to his at all. He still has not refunded my money or complete a finished product which I ended up getting someone else to do. he stole $200.00 from us.
