Germain Toyota BIG LOT USED CARS LEXUS BIG LOTS GERMAIN NAPLES FLORIDA BIG LOT USED CARS ( BAD DEAL) SLY! Naples Florida
I just retired and moved here and was seeking a used car, stopped in at Big Lots of Naples during a bad rain storm. Took a 2009 Mercedes for a test drive and place a offer on it afterwards via phone. The salesperson who was nice to deal with (Mike) gave me a Carfax and stated the car was in excellent shape and stated the Carfax only was reported in one accident from a rear bumper. I was paying by personal check and stated I would and could wait for delivery until my checked cleared was told No problem and Germain just accepts everyones check (thats just the way the Germain family operates(I even offerred to provide a Cashiers check). The next day I went in to pay I was asked to fill out a credit report including my ss # (Ishould have walked away) you would think someone would of been forthcoming on the procedure. The loan person Adam was more concerned about his eyes being dotted! ( I asked earlier about extended warranties during the offer but was told by the manager Adam would take care of it also he would call me in 15 min which never happened) After signing the paperwork I asked Adam where is the car ? He said out front.I finally found it on the side and noticed the front bumper was badly damaged! Mike the salesperson told me they would fix it and it would take 2 or 3 days. ( It took 5days ). I was upset because I feel Germain did not disclose and was hiding this defect from me. I called and spoke to Ken M. (director of operations) he said he would check this out and call me back on Sat. ( He never returned my call) . This dealership lives up to NEVER TRUST A USED CAR DEALER. The nut does not fall far from the tree. from the salesperson to the manager to the top ,,What a bad car buying expierence!
