Gibson Trust ripoff thieves and liars Pompano Beach Florida
I had accumulated a lot of debt in college and wanted to get rid of it ASAP so I entered Gibson Trust in July 2001. At first things were moving along smoothly until about 6 months ago. I started getting the calls and letters from my creditors. I was absolutely dumbfounded that they my bills weren't getting paid.
Gibson Trust took money out of my checking account at the same time every month and they sent me statements telling me my bills were paid. I made many attempts to reach them and finally after spending my time on hold I spoke to a real person. I was told that my account would be reviewed and it would take a few days.
Well I called the next day and the review was "done". According to Gison all of my cards were up to date. Well, I still got the phone calls and letters. Finally I insisted to have a more "thorough" review done and I wanted an answer about my cards by that afternoon. I of course made the call that afternoon and got no help until my threat of contacting legal representation. Things seemed to go okay for another month or two and then all of credit cards did not get paid in August. I called again and spoke with KAMAR.
He informed me that my problem was with accounting so I asked to speak with someone in accounting and was told that they do not take calls that I have to send them a letter. I told him that I wanted my situation reviewed yet again and an answer to why this is happening again. I didn't hear from Gibson again, but one of my creditors who handle the debt consolidation programs called me herself to let me know what is going on. Can you believe that the person who called my creditor had the balls to tell them that I was late with my payments to them. This person said this after they had already told my creditor that they take out my payment electronically.
So they pretty much got caught in a lie and I was so upset about this, so once again I called Gibson Trust and told them that if they ever had the nerve to blame their accounting on me again that I would sue them for slander. And that was the last time I ever got through on their phones.
I once again started to get the phone calls from my creditors and was continuously trying to call and email Gibson. I am all for whatever we can do to these people. I will call the Florida Attorney's Office first thing in the morning.
