Gillece Plumbing Excessive Charges Bridgeville, Pennsylvania
Needed a drain snaked on New Years Eve day and called Gillece. They found the problem quickly and it required installing a new 6 ft piece of PVC pipe. I was figuring about $400-$500 for the 2 hours worth of work, materials and travel time, considering the rates plumbers charge. They came back with a quote of almost $3,000!!! I resisted and they lowered it to $1,700 which was still way to high (parts were about $50). I had to get it done. This company has a deep history of charging grossly excessive amounts and ripping people off. They need to be exposed for what they are and shut down or heavily fined by the Pennsylvania Attorney General.

Gillece management contacted me about my disatisfaction. After a very pleasant exchange, they reduced their charges to an amount I felt was fair and reasonable for all. Thank you, Gillece!
