Complaint Review: Girls With Pearls Photography - The Woodlands Texas

We only went with GWP's, because they assured us that they could work with our deadlines. The photos we had taken were gifts to be sent back with a missionary family who cannot receive mail in their country. Internet when working is extremely slow and downloading the photos were not an option. GWP's knew this information and promised they could deliver the photos about 2 weeks after the photo shoot to allow editing time. This was only the first promise that led to a string of excuses as to why they weren't being delivered on time. (See original report.) We were under a great deadline to get these photos printed and delivered to the missionary family before they left the USA. GWP's knew this and still gave us the run-around. We were promised a digital copy in the form of a CD with all of the photos about 2 weeks after the photo shoot. The threats to file suit were genuinely real as the family was due to leave the country 2 days later, which would have rendered the photos useless. We finally received the photos 2 MONTHS after the due date promised by Rachel Thompson from a file sharing website. We never received the CD promised to us.

So unlike the "hundreds" of photos that I'm sure are taken for a wedding, there were not even 40 photos for our photo shoot. I have several emails that documented the correspondence I had between Rachel Thompson and her "excuses" as to why she wasn't delivering the photos by the deadline SHE herself gave us!

I'm sure its much easier to try to personally attack a consumer who was treated poorly by a "company" than to understand that we were truly misled by GWP's. And of course I will never return to GWP's for photos. I prefer a company who has a history of integrity in delivering what is promised by the deadline promised.

I loved working with Jamie and Rachel. They treated me as a friend, and even came to one of my dress fittings. When I had the crazy idea to do bridal portraits in 33 degree weather, they bundled up in coats and came out with me. The photos turned out beautiful, and I got all of my pictures delivered 2 weeks after the wedding. They even sent me a set of photo coasters with my wedding pictures on them as a gift.

The owners of Girls with Pearls Photography, Jamie and Rachel, have stunning personalities that coincide with their brilliant work. They make you laugh and feel at ease when they are snapping picture after picture. Are they the most professional people? ABSOLUTELY! Their professionalism will exceed your expectations and they always throw in some fun and lots of laughs for free!!! They are definitely the experts in their field and have their business in perfect working order to meet the needs of their CLASSY clients.

Jamie and Rachel took hundreds of pictures at our wedding. That means there were HUNDREDS of pictures to review and edit and produce from our wedding day. Since it takes many hours to complete the review and editing of pictures, I didnt mind waiting for Jamie and Rachel to take their time making our pictures perfect. Although Jamie and Rachel treated us like we were their only priority, any consumer should realize that a good photographer has MANY clients.

It definitely takes time to get quality work from a professional photographer. Clearly, this consumer should have hired a Wal-Mart photographer since they were expecting a Wal-Mart one-hour turnaround time for their proofs. With the response, I threatened to file suit were they emailed for us to get ourselves 2 months later!!!! obviously shows you the class of this customer.

If you are expecting great photography and a story of your day through pictures, your expectations will be exceeded beyond belief by choosing Girls with Pearls Photography.  Thank goodness Jamie and Rachel dont have to worry about this Negative-Nancy customer coming back to them for future business...

These women are just so amazing. Words can't describe what wonderful friends they have become of mine. My first marriage ended up not working out, but the girls were our photgraphers and they were amazing. Not only that, but we had used another company to take our engagement photos and ended up hating them. These women stepped in and gave us exactly what we asked for. They made me feel so special and I couldn't have asked for a better job. When they heard that our marriage wasn't working out, they came and took me out for a night of fun. They are super sweet, professional, and do quality work. I am getting married next year and we are going to be using the Girls with Pearls for my second wedding and I can't wait, their work is amazing and they know how to capture very important moments in such a special way!! I would recommend them to any bride or family I know. I have no doubt that they would not let my word down. I couldn't be any happier after using them in the past and for future opportunities as well!
