i'll admit when i came to giufre i was a bit vulnerable. But car dealers don't tell you everything. in my case the extended warranty that was put in the clause i was under the impression that it was bumper to bumper or at least comprehensive. and the warranty amount was too high. $2000.00 for powertrain? i admit this is a learning experience for me. a extended warranty outside of a dealer with much more coverage (comprehensive damage, wear and tear etc)is much less like 700 to 800 dollars less. I've learned my lesson. my problem now is getting my prorated refund now with 14 months still left on the warranty. a employee whom at this time i will not name tryed to stipulate that because work was done on the car via using the warranty, that the refund would be less. so my fight is i had a powertrain warranty at 3 years or 36,000 miles. whichever comes 1st. i went in after putting 19.500 to 20,000 miles on the car with 14 months left on the warranty, and they did not want to give me the full value of my refund. (many excuses they made) work done on the car etc. that has nothing to do with the warranty i bought. that what the warranty was for. i know they don't like me, but who gives a flying @#$%^. here's is the dilemma. i called the warranty company first extended warranty. and they told me what to do. the cost of the warranty X's 37.14% which is the percentage of the warranty i used. which comes out to $742.80 now $2000.00 - $742.80 = $1257.20 the cancellation fee is $25.00 so $1257.20 - $25.00 = $1232.20 THIS IS THE AMOUNT OF REFUND I AM SEEKING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY TOLD ME TO TAKE IT UP WITH THE DEALER. THE DEALER DID NOT WANT TO DISCLOSE THE AMOUNT OF THE REFUND TO ME, SO AS USUAL THE CONSUMER PROTECTING MYSELF I WANTED TO KNOW BEFORE I LEFT. I EXPLAINED THERE IS A LITIGATION PENDING AND HE SAID HE WILL SEE ME IN COURT. I WANTED TO SETTLE AND SQUASH THE COURT DATE. HE DID NOT. HE SAID I WANTED TO GET PAID TWICE. WHEN ALL THE TIME THEY WHERE GETTING PAID OFF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND MONIES TOTALING OVER $3000.00 THAT I HAD TO SHELL OUT OF MY POCKETS AND CREDIT CARDS TO PAY IN AS LITTLE AS 60 DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR. AGAIN. THAT IS BESIDE THE POINT. THEY DON'T LIKE ME. AND HONESTLY, IM NOT BEST FRIENDS WITH THOSE GUYS EITHER. I JUST WANT MY FULL REFUND. I HAVE A NEW EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT WAS 800.00 LESS AND COVERS ALL COMPONENTS. THAT IS WHY I SAY THEY RIPPED ME OFF WHEN I WAS MOST VULNERABLE.

You are complaining about nothing here, as far as I can tell. You said that there were touched up scratches on the paint. So what? You bought a 5 year old NEW YORK car. Did you expect the paint to be perfect? The broken lighter, stereo speakers blown, no mats, those things were all wrong when you bought the car. And you bought it anyway. You said the dealer fixed the car 2 times under warranty, including a transmission. So what's your complaint? That the cables weren't covered? If you had taken time to read the warranty, you would have realized that it isn't a bumper-to-bumper warranty after all. That, again, was your error. Yes, car salesmsan are not honest. But how does this experience warrant a rip-off report? And, how does it ruin your credit?
