Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Selling tactics full of lies and deception. This has been corroborated by Subaru financial @ 800 662 3325. Financial mgr at dealership asking for money down when loan was never in danger to be denied. Offered loan for second vehicle at 13% interest, after subaru fin'l approved 1st loan @ 6.5%. I was told Subaru does not allow more than one loan per household. Bold face lie, corroborated by Laqueata, cust serv mgr at subaru fin'l.

Dont waste your time and money at this awful, deceitful, dishonest and sleazy place of "business". It took one week to finally get word from the dealer. Im a homeowner with good credit. Dealership showed total disregard for my time and money. Never again.

Beware!

We are sorry that your experience was not positive. We strive for full customer satisfaction with every customer and regret that we were unable to meet your expectations. Without the details of your particular case, it is hard to say what happened with certainty. I am not sure how we led you to some of the conclusions that you stated, but hopefully this will provide clarity to your particular situation. First, the interest rate discrepancy could be due to a number of reasons. Some of which may have been year of the vehicle, different manufacturer program from the first vehicle to the second, or the fact that you were taking on the first loan which increased your debt to income and therefore dictated a higher interest rate for the second. Without knowing the details, I am unable to say which one applied in your case. In regards to the bank's policy of only allowing 1 vehicle loan per household - you are correct, this is not true. However, banks will sometimes place stipulations on a vehicle loan if a customer's debt to income ratio is negative - stipulations such as only allowing that customer 1 car. I do not know if this was communicated to you incorrectly, but this is one reason a bank would limit you to one vehicle loan. I can say with absolute confidence that we were not dishonest with you at any time. We apologize for any misunderstanding and hope that this clears up your experience with our dealership.

Glanzmann Subaru Service - UPDATE

#6Consumer Comment

Happy to report that Subaru Customer Service agreed to cover the cost of repairs. They told me to call Glanzmann for an appointment. I spoke directly to the manager and was treated with the respect expected from a manager. I intend to use this Subaru service in the future as I have in the past.

The only reason Glanzman treated "Prophetcop" (he updated his report "Glanzman Subaru Liars Jenkintown, Pennsylvania") well was because Prophetcop made phone calls to complain and wrote blogs about them. I was called a liar by the service manager, Bob. He stated that I knew about a hard wire under the drivers seat and refused to repair my car unless I paid the $2,000.00 to bring it back to factory specs. I am the 2nd owner and have had the car without the air bag light going on until two weeks ago when my husband drove the car (first time since I've had it) because his car was being repaired. The air bag light then started to go on but would go off too, then it just stayed on. I have called Subaru Customer Service and they said the manager's treatment toward me was unacceptable and they were filing a report. They suggested I take the car to another dealer, which I am doing. I am a loyal Subaru owner since 1992. AND as an aside, when I looked for a new car a few years ago at Glanzman the sales people were sleazy and obviously trying to get me agree to a high interest loan. I finally bought my Subaru from another dealer. The only reason I went to them for repair is the convenience of distance. NEVER again.

After complaining here and at the BBB, I was treated with the utmost respect by this dealership. They got me a great car overnight, at invoice. They were great, I would buy another car from them in the future. It was all a misunderstanding. It is no coincidence Subaru has sold 60,000 + units in the past month. Great car, great company, great dealer. Tks
