GLDS Don King and GLDS Jobs are a fraud and rip-off Plano Texas
GLDS Jobs based Plano and Irving is a fraud. After seeing an AD on Hotjobs, I decided to email my resume to GLDS. A few days later, I was contacted by something from GLDS saying that Don King had looked at my resume and he could help me. I meet with Don King who said that he had all kinds of connections in the legal field. He said he could find me a job in two months max. All I had to do is pay him $595 dollars upfront.
After thinking about it, I decided to proceed with the "marketing". He promises to "market" you to the hidden job market along with rewriting your resume. He also promises to give you interviewing help along with various "marketing letters". What I got was nothing close to what he promised. The resume he wrote for me is not very good and several employers told me that. The marketing letters and interviewing advice is nothing more than stuff that is posted on Career Builder for free. After he started "marketing" me, he said that I should start receiving phone calls in two weeks. I did not receive one phone call. When I checked in, he blamed the lack of phone calls on the holidays and the bad economy. I let him "market" me for six months and did not receive one phone call. The only thing I got during those 6 months was three rejection letters from the same company and two emails saying they do not accept unsolicited paper resumes.
All Don King does is mass fax your resume around. GLDS does not have any job connections with any company or have access to the "hidden job market". All the leads that are emailed to you each day are nothing more than two or three day old postings on Monster. All most everyone of them I was not qualified for. Don King and GLDS are a fraud, do NOT give this con artist any money or you will be sorry! Oh by the way, do a search for Wagner Dean they are the same company.
