Glenwood mobile homes Over excessive and malious late fees imposed and charged
I rented mobile home 5022 on May 8th 2017 a two(2) bdrm unit for myself,wife,and 17yr old son on their website a 2bdrm unit goes for $750.00 water and trash pickup included for $750.00 after signing the lease my weekly rent was $242.90 x 4 totals $972 a month. I informed the property manager Dawn Paredes and Joyce that I get paid bi-weekly from my employer they agreed for me to pay biweekly $484.80. In July the property manager Dawn Paredes demanded my rent be paid weekly due on Fridays no later than 12 noon Saturday I told her about the agreement and she stated that late fees would be imposed after 12 noon Saturday in the amount of $50 and $15 daily late fee until I got paid an additional $230 was imposed on me I was being harassed by Dawn Paredes vebally and by posting threatening letters to my front door on a weekly basis with eviction in October I was served with eviction papers I wrote my reasons not to be evicted and submitted every single money order receipt and rent receipt to the presiding judge and the judge denied me. I filed a motion to stay as well as an emergency motion to stay until 11/10/2017 that's when my new apartment will be available and the judge denied both my motions I strongly believe the owner Paul Chad comingore paid a bribe to the presiding judge to expedite the eviction process. This man is a scumbag slumlord and Dawn Paredes is a thief and scamming property manager. Joyce is the boss and she sugarcoats all of Dawn's decisions. In Florida it states that a late fee can be imposed after 5 days and the late fee is 5% of the rent. I was charged $50 the following day and $15 daily fee very ridiculous and over excessive.
