Beware of Global Automotive of Miami, Inc. They sell fuel pumps and many other parts that will not work on your car and when you send it back under their warranty they expect you to provide you with your credentials for installing the part. My husband has been certified mechanic for the US ARMY for 8 years and they said he was not capable of installing a fuel pump. Their customer service is ridiculous and they treat the customer as if they are liars. They said they tested my fuel pump and it works so we said to send it back and they said we had to pay to send it back even though it does not state this in their warranty or ebay listing. the fuel pump was for my 02 Chevy suburban Z71. I set up UPS to pick up the package as they told us to do at my expense and UPS said they were unsuccessful and I scheduled the pick up to occur from 9am to 4pm CST on a thursday. At this point they have my money and my part. I have filed an FBI complaint against them for internet fraud and hope everyone else who had them steal their money will do the same.I purchased through ebay and their ebay ID is global-automotive. I have also filed a report with GM to find out if global automotive is an authorized dealer since they say their parts are GM certified but since they will not replace, refund, or even send me back the original part I am not sure they are even a reputable dealer for GM or any other manufacturer parts. Please beware of this company and as you can see the other numerous rip off reports on this company I think they have established themeselves as a company that is highly unethical and NOT customer service oriented. They are out to take your money and claim that everyone else is not a professional but they are. If they were I would either have my money back or a working part.I have to purchase a new fuel pump from a reputable auto parts dealer and eat the loss of the $100.00 I spent with Global Automotive. When you buy cheap you get cheap! If anyone has a class action suit against the company for selling faulty parts and not backing up their warranty then I would like to join this suit. Also, it seems their warranty changes constantly and they change their warranty terms to benefit them. This was the last message I sent to them and did not get a response:

I have copied and pasted your warranty and I want you to show me where it explicitly says if we do not find the part to be defective that the buyer pays to have it shipped back? please show me. You are not dealing with some backyard mechanic my husband is a professional mechanic and has fixed numerous fuel pumps for the Army and is deemed a professional with them. Also, I hold a bachelors in business and working on an MBA so i know how to read a warranty and I know that you cannot expect me to pay the shipping costs to have it sent back since it DOES NOT say this in your warranty. Either ship me back the defective part or give me back my money. you cannot keep both. The fuel pump does not work in my car!
Warranty

Global-Automotive offers a LIFETIME warranty on this part. We will replace any part shown to be defective in workmanship. Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. A copy of proof of purchase and current vehicle registration must accompany all returned parts. All defective parts must be returned to us for inspection before a replacement can be issued.

Global-Automotive's liability shall be limited to the replacement of the part deemed to be defective. All sales are final, no refunds. Any part which has been altered in any way, accidentally damage during installation, improperly installed, or not used for its' intended purpose, will not be warranted. Warranty does not cover towing, rental vehicles, loss of time, labor charges, or economic loss of any kind.

The fuel system is a very large and comprised of many different parts. It is buyers responsibility to properly investigate and diagnose their vehicle to make sure they are purchasing the correct part. Global-Automotive requests that buyers have parts installed by a professional mechanic that can do the job correctly. Global Automotive is not liable for misdiagnosis or improperly installed parts. Installers should reference and follow the installation guide below

They say lifetime warranty but then add in limits. Their warranty should have said limited lifetime warranty and it does not say a certified mechanic must install the part but this is what they are saying to us when we try to get them to replace the defective part or even ship back the part to us.  They should be shut down and no longer in business and I hope getting the word out about their business practices will help us in this endeavor.

I tried to get the part back at my expense even though I didn't want to because it never stated this in their warranty and they did not allow UPS to pick up the part even though they told me to have them pick it up. They also rarely pick up their phone and if you get upset with them because they aren't listening to you they hang up on you and when you call back they don't answer.
