Global Finanacial Services - Steven Sivel - Don Rogers - Christ Adams Lottery Winnings Scam Toronto Ontario Canada
On January 18, 2008 I received a letter stating that I had won $120,000 in ainternational lottery that included Asia, Europe, and North America. I won in a drawing in the 2nd catergory from a total of $2,040,000.00.
My lucky ticket number was 743-2178-634 with serial # 5731-24 and the winning # was 7-10-19-23-36-44. They said my funds we already deposited with a security company (not named) and insured in my name. They said due to a mix up of some numbers and names they requested I keep this information confidential until my claim had been processed. RED Flag went up. Due to security protocol.
The letter said all winnings must be claimed by Jan. 30th, 2008 or forfeited. They enclosed a very real looking cashiers check # 666158 for $3,375 which
was to be for the administrative fees. When I called the number 647-832-6385, a man who could barely speak English instructed me to cash the check and mail the money by Moneygram to a Paul Martin at704 River St, Alberta, Canada. M3T6W9. I couldn't figure out why they didn't just mail the money to him themselves, after all they are in Canada too.
I checked with my State Attorney General's office to see if there were any reports on them....none. But I was strictly warned not to deposit the check or attempt to cash it. I then checked the Rip Off Report and found almost the exact scenario under Global Finacial Investments. Thanks Rip Off! I owe you one. I hope you get these dogs for raising my hopes.
