Global Financial Services credit card to help build credit is a scam Atlanta Georgia
We were contacted in December 2002 originally. At that time we told them no thanks. They called again towards the middle of Jan. 2003 and at that time we went ahead with it.
They took the 221.95 for a 'processing' fee on Jan. 20. We were to get a bunch of 'extras' and a credit card with a limit of 2500.00. I have called them 8 times about not receiving anything from them at all. On April 10th I contacted them again.
This time I was told that the company that they had been using to mail out the cards, etc. had fallen way behind so they had to switch to a new company. She put me on hold and when she came back to the phone she informed me that my card had been mailed on April 9 and to give it 7 to 10 days. Well it is now April 22 and still nothing.
I tried calling both of the numbers I have for them and the first one is now a recording that tells you to call the number listed above. Seems there is no one there to answer the phone. It rang and rang and rang.
People and/or companies who do this to unsuspecting people deserve to be brought before all those that they took advantage of and stoned.
I learned a valuable lesson trust no one!
