Global tel link Jail Call services Global Tel Link does not give you the whole story internet
So, my 20 year old son is in prison.
Global tel link is a parent company to a company called Jail call services. They promise you for 29.95, they will give you a phone number so your family can call as many times as they want but they fail to tell you that they have to CALL you to give you that number and when they don't reach you, you have to call back and sit on hold for 2 hours and get noone.
Then they send you all these emails about getting your "activation" number. Again, IF you don't get their voice mail, you sit on hold and NOONE ever comes on the line.
They promise one day service for an extra $14.95 outside of the 29.95 and a 14.95 activation fee.
I have told them I just want my money back.
I have emailed them several times asking them to put the activation fee in an email and told them that I have to be at work at 5 EST. They called at about 5 minutes before 5. I left them a message saying the same. This tells me that they have no intention of getting in touch with me.
I think all these jail services need to realize that the family is not the criminal and ripping us off is not fair!
