Global travel Solutions Offered a free cruise to listen to a 90 minute presentation. Hard sell that started at almost $10,000. for life for discounts. When they are turned down they keep selling you to a lower price Montvale, New Jersey
I received a postcard for a free cruise on Carnival. When I called the number the woman said that I just had to sit through a 90 minute presentation to get it. She gave me the address with no name of the travel agency. They are only there from 5:30 until 9:30 a couple of nights a week. A few couples were waiting to go into the presentation. They took each of us into a separate office with a salesperson who did not know too much. Then we all went into a room as a group and listened to the presentation for 90 minutes. They wanted $10,000. for life and $30. a month. They talked about all the ways they can save you money in travel on cruises and staying in condos. They seemed very convincing. They then had us go back to the individual sales person who tried to close the sale. When I told her that I wanted to think about it she brought in someone else to close it. They brought it down to $3400. for 2 years and then I could renew it after that for $900. but the offer was only good for that one time. I signed up thinking there was a cancellation period. I went home and tried to log into the website but could not. I then looked into the company and found other people complaining about being ripped off. I called MasterCard and they put it through their fraud dept. I tried faxing a cancellation letter to the fax # on the application that they said had to be faxed to in order to cancel but the number would not go through. MasterCard had trouble getting through to them also but finally did and they refunded most of my $3400. and they are trying to get the rest of it. I am glad I acted fast with calling Master Card to cancel it but it would have saved me a lot of time and aggravation had I never called for the free trip.

Before filing a compliant you should investigate and make sure what you publish is correct!
When you search on the web you will find about 15 Globaltravelsolutions.
The one you are referring to in Montclair has a website named GLOBALTRAVELSOLUTIONSLLC.com (note the LLC !) which forwards to http://funwithgts.com/ and shows Global Travel Solutions on their heading.
Our Globaltravelsolutions.com is a website jointly operated by Murray Hill International Inc. and Holland Approach inc. and neither is associated with the company your complaint is about.
1) Globaltravelsolutions.com (website registered in 1995 By Murray Hill International Inc.) is NOT a company, just a name of a website.
2) Murray Hill International Inc. and Holland Approach Inc.are based in GILLETTE, NJ
3) Murray Hill International Inc. has been a licensed and bonded ARC/IATA agent since 1978 and is
open to the public (as stipulated by ARC/IATA) on weekdays from 9am-5pm!
4) We state on our website:
WE ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH GLOBALTRAVELSOLUTIONSLLC.COM in MONTCLAIR,NJ
WE DO NOT OFFER A FREE CRUISE AND WE DO NOT OFFER SEMINARS EITHER!
5) It is stated that you tried to sign in to their website. It certainly was not ours as we are there 24 hours a day since 1995!(barring power outages)
6)We too are a victim as we have been getting calls for more than 3 years from people trying to reach that company and now you are accusing us (the wrong website) as well.
You should either correct the facts in your complaint or remove it.
