Three months ago, I ordered two Glock 36 magazines, and an instructional DVD. The website said that everything was in stock, and that it all would ship. When I placed the order, I received an email saying my order was on the way, but when I received it, I only got the DVD. There was a packing slip that stated that the magazines were not in stock.
I went back to the site, and checked, and the site still said that they had them in stock. So, I tried to call them, several times, to figure out what was the status of this order, and the number automatically brought me to a dial tone. I could not get a ring, and I could not leave a message. I tried for several days, and never was able to connect to anyone.
I then decided to write an email through the website. I did so, and explained to them that I would like to know if, and when the magazines did arrive, would they ship them automatically, or would I have to order them again? I also noted that I was charged the shipping for all 3 items via UPS, which I had selected during checkout, but that I received only the DVD via USPS, and that if they were going to ship the items at a later time, would I be charged the full shipping again? I did go back onto the site again and put only the DVD in the shopping cart and went to checkout to confirm that I was overcharged $10.
I actually sent 3 emails about this very same issue, and never got any sort of a response. I tried again and again to call, but I could never get anyone on the phone. I eventually gave up, and told myself that I would just eat the shipping overcharge, because it wasn't worth the headache. All this happened in early January of 2013. I have since found the items on another website, and ordered them, and received them within a week.
Now fast-forward to the middle of March 2013, and I get an email from them, saying that the items have shipped. I checked my credit card, and I found the charge, and noticed that I am being overcharged for the shipping again. I went back to the website,and rebuilt the order again, and it says it should cost $67.40 with shipping, (which I already paid), but the charge on my card is for $82. In fact, I just went back and added the DVD that I originally ordered, to see if that would add up to $82, and it still doesn't add up. That total with the DVD is still only $75.86.
I tried to call them again several times today about this issue, and I even sent them another email, but I have not received an answer, and I have not been able to get anyone to answer the phone. At least the phone rings now. It just rings, and rings, and rings, and no one answers. I don't know what to do.
I would have been fine waiting for the items to ship, and I would have asked for was a simple response to say that they were planning on sending them to me when they received the. I don't think that is too much to ask for. At this point, I am trying to make sure the package is refused, and sent back, and that I can charge this back.
I just hope that even if this isn't resolved, that someone else reads this, and DOES NOT give their business to GlockStore. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever experieced. Take your business to Midway USA, or GlockMeister, they have both been great. At least they answer the phone.
