Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I ordered a slimming product from GNS, decided that I didn't need to waste my money on the product. I called the company on January 14 or 15, 09 and requested a cancellation of shipment for next product that would be sent out. The customer service gal said no problem and we won't charge your card anymore, enjoy your "free" sample! Should have known that was to good to be true! Hmmmm.

So, I as a trusting customer, thought well that was easy and thought I was done with GNS. Think Again sucker!

So, on the 25th of Jan 09 GNS charges my debit card $79.90 for the "Free" trial offer that was sent to me (I paid shipping and handling for that free product that was initially sent) Imagine that!

I call the company on 25 Jan 09 from my office and try to talk to one rep and he doesn't want to listen to me and I get angry and he hangs up. I call again after I calm down and get a rep that listens as I tell her that I have filed an attorney generals report with my state. Then I proceed to tell her about what happened. (like she really cares, I was wasting my breath)

Well, it turns out that I must send back the two bottles of product (at my own cost) and oh! Guess what? The product is not free and not a trial, you pay for that and you continue to pay without even having a product to use. Here we go and the battle is set!

Sounds All American to me! Ripping off the consumer of your own country does make you rich, except for the folks answering the disgruntled consumer phone calls! (minimum wage I suspect) I wonder how long it will take once the free package gets back to them, that I might receive my money back? Good question huh?

I'm hoping this will help someone else that gets sucked in to a web of deceit and improper advertisement to entice you in. Shame on GNS and shame on me for falling for it and then trying to rectify the whole situation. An American business that is out to cheat women (mostly the customer base, I'm sure) out of hard earned money. I bet I never see my money returned. I will keep you posted. Please don't buy anything from GNS Slimbody or any of the other miracle products they have advertised.

Just get on the treadmill like I did and lose your first 15lbs, add proper portion control to your diet (exclude junk food from your diet plan) throw in a good healthy portion of H2O and exercise! TA DA! What a plan!

Thank you for letting me vent.

We understand that when calling and cancelling your autoship program you believed that you would not be billed for anything further. Calling and cancelling your autoship does not cancel the charge scheduled for the trial bottles if they are kept past the trial period. You were advised by our representatives that you would be reimbursed within 48 hours once your product is received back. All of the representatives at our company understand how the trial offers work and that this is not a free sample offer. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding of this offer, if we can offer further resolution for your order feel free to contact customer service at 1-800-595-4670. Thank you, Supervisor

GNS Rip Off! Part II

#3Author of original report

Sun, January 25, 2009

On the same day that I filed this report, I sent a report to the Oregon Attorney Generals office and the Colorado Attorney Generals Office. I will also be sending an email to the local TV stations in Portland, Oregon for a bit of help from the consumer fraud sections of the TV stations websites. I'm tired of Americans ripping off Americans. I will also be sending the city of Arvada a few notes also. It is a real city, I checked. Even if the Terms and Conditions state the obvious and we didn't read the fine print; that is no justification to continue to take money out of our bank accounts (especially when cancelled and we have our "Return Authorization Code", and sent the product back) for the boss to get rich! I have read most of the reports on here and some are really bad, I hope to represent all of you with my reporting. I have yet to see and update with GNS that is a good outcome. The company rep I spoke with said, "Once the product is returned, you should receive your money back into your account within 48 hours!" That is verbatim.
