Golden Eagle Leasing, Card Payment Systems ripoff, dishonest, misrepresentation, taken advantage of, misled ripoff deceptive, poor customer service, company fraudulent rip-off business tricked and lied to us New York
In an attempt to make additional income, I started my own busines. A couple months later, I was contacted by Card Payment Systems represntative Rob Macabee. He thought that the addition of a credit card machine would help my business. We made an appointment and he came to describe the equipment that he sold/leased.
While examining the contract for the credit card machine owned by Golden Eagle Leasing, I specifically asked, "What happens if my business doesn't go well and we have to close?". Mr. Macabee replied, "O don't worry about it, if it closes, they will let you out of the lease". He led me to believe that the companies were linked together. Are they? I have attempted to contact Mr. Macabee and his employer with no success. They "aren't in right now, but I'll take a message and have them call you". They have never returned a call.In addition, when contacting Card Payment systems, the people I spoke to and told my situation to, never told me I needed to contact anyone else. I specifically told them I needed billed for the credit card machine baecause I had closed my checking account for the business, and they told me they would take care of it!
Needless to say, Golden Eagle Leasing does not and will not let you out of the contract. I now have to continue paying for the lease. I was misled by the Card Payment Systems Representative and Golden Eagle has no heart, or customer service skills. Oscar, the gentleman I spoke to there, pretty much told me "too bad". On other attempts to contact Golden Eagle Leasing, Oscar has hung up on me. Not even letting me finish asking the question I needed answered. The macine has been used one time and still new in the box.
If you are a small new small business, don't be taken in by the sweet talk. They are all lies! I believed all people were good, I was wrong. These people are very misleading.
