Hello again, Just wanted to let everyone know that 5 business days have elapsed and absolutely NOTHING has happened to me: no further contact from the so-called "lawyer", no one has contacted my bank or my employer, I have received nothing in the mail, no one has knocked on my door to serve me a summons. I won't know for sure if my money is truly refunded until 45 days from the date it was refunded to me (2/10/06), but I think it's pretty safe to say that no one is going to try to sue me for $99. Even if they did, it would be worth it to me because it would cost them time and money and I would laugh so hard at the irony of that ! I plan to copy and paste this update to as many posts as I can to spread the word: JUST CONTACT YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND DISPUTE THE CHARGE !! HAVE THE FEE REVERSED !! Obviously Golden Harvest doesn't like that...which tells me it must be the right thing to do !!

1. The imaginary "Thomas A. Gentry, esq" doesn't seem to exist, according to the State Bar of California. Seems to me that "someone" at Golden Harvest may have committed yet another crime by impersonating an attorney (Officer of the Court), which IS a felony. Whodathunkit? Truth of the matter is, this imaginary attorney seems to have the same writing style as Dave, with the same vivid bullshit crimes he dreams up (writing a post against Golden Harvest can get you arrested for filing a false report against them on ROR..he actually wrote that in another post). 2. Don't worry about getting your plane ticket to California just yet...especially since you have no idea WHERE this imaginary preliminary hearing will be held. At least a city or county would be nice. But considering you can't schedule a preliminary hearing on something not even filed yet.....guess this imaginary attorney isn't very detail oriented. Not to mention that there is another little detail called "venue" that would interrupt your trip to California. Guess the imaginary attorney didn't learn that in imaginary attorney school. Have fun with this...I know it's not nice to pick on the simple-minded, but with people like this, it can be SO much fun.

That email from their "attorney" made my day...if he's an attorney, I'm an airline pilot. The terminology in the email screams that this "attorney" isn't. First of all, an attorney is not going to send you an email of that nature..you would get a REAL, hard copy letter on their letterhead. These people are obviously idiots and think that everyone else is an idiot as well. You got your money back...good for you. Have some fun with these fools...and share with us any further ramblings and rantings. I bet the Attorney General and FTC would be just as amused.

Hi everyone,
GOOD NEWS !!
I finally followed someone's smart advice from a previous post and contacted my credit card company re: Golden Harvest Company. I requested that they investigate the company and they have issued me a refund. All of a sudden, after five months of no replies to any of my refund requests or emails, I get the following THREATENING email from Golden Harvest Company's "attorney":
