I contacted Dee Gerrish first by telephone to inquire about buying a puppy from her. She posted that she had puppies for sale and me and several of my friends wanted to buy one.
I was very nice to her on the phone and I asked if I could drive to her house to see the puppies and the parents. I also wanted to see where the puppies were being kept and how clean the facilities were. My neighbor raises dogs so I know a little about this.
Dee Gerrish was nasty to me on the phone and told me that I needed to read her policy on her website. She said she does not allow anyone on her property to see the dogs and puppies. I asked her why not and she again told me that is her policy.
I felt that because she doesn't allow anyone to see the pups or the puppy's parents and where they are kenneled, this woman must be hiding something. Everyone I know here in my area who breed dogs always allow people to see the kennels, the dogs and the puppies. No one hides anything. I thanked her then hung up.
Last night I sent Dee an email and I may not have worded my inquiry correctly but this is what I wrote in my email after Dee told me it is "forbidden" for anyone to see the puppies and the puppy's parents: "to whom may concern: "why is it forbidden to see how you breed your dogs, there is only one reason I can think off and that would be your a back yard breeder like I've been told".
Note: I don't want to see how she mates her dogs. I meant to ask why can't I see the kennels and the parents of the puppies and where the puppies were born. Dee took my question completely out of context and this is her reply to me:
"What kind of crazy question is that any way... asking to come to my house to "see how I breed my dogs" ??? I am not
breeding my dogs at this time. Are you some kind of weirdo who gets their rocks off of watching two dogs mate ??
If so, why don't you go buy two dogs and go watch them screw each other ? Do I send you an email asking
to come to your house and enter your bedroom watching you and your sex partner go at it ? What is wrong with you ???
The only reason I can think of when someone sends an email such as yours is that your some crack pot weirdo looking to get their rocks off watching two dogs go at it! Go harass someone else nutcase! "
Note: I was shocked to read such a disgusting reply from Dee. What kind of business owner would reply with such a disgusting answer? She is definitely 'out there'. I told my friends who wanted a puppy also that I would never buy a puppy from someone as crazy as this woman is. There are plenty of other breeders around and what Dee doesn't realize is, she just lost a lot of money because not only did I want to buy a puppy, several of my friends wanted to buy one too. We were all willing to drive from PA to NC where Dee lives to pick up the puppies and pay her in cash.
Her loss.
Anyone who treats me this way will never get my business. I can't believe this person is still in business. Wow.

This is my response to Dan Yoder of Lancaster PA, whom has posted this untruthful accusation against me as private breeder in the state of North Carolina.
The only reason you have come to this website making your accusation is because your girlfriend, Sandra Johnson asked you to. The truth is, you sent a vulgar email asking to watch my dog mate and called me a backyard breeder knowing you have nevet met me and have never met my dogs.
You don't know one single thing about me as a private breeder. You have never contacted me regarding purchasing a puppy from me and your statement is completely untruthful.
The truth is, Mr. Dan Yoder, you called my home after your girlfriend Sandra Johnson provided you with my telephone number and you threatened to "rip my face off" and you specifically told me that you had "friends in high places" . After you hung up, I took a snap shot of my caller ID with your telephone number and I will be providing this snap shot along with YOUR photo AND YOUR email communication (along with YOUR ROR posting) to the judge on my next court date in six weeks. Because of all the ROR postings over the years, that your girlfriend, Sandra Johnson has placed upon this website that has caused substantial harm to me, my husband, my sons and to my Goldendoodle World/Lake Ridge Kennel business I filed for a restraining order against her.
On May 16th, 2011 I was granted a restraining order against her for at least six weeks because she failed to show up and she was advised to show up for the next court hearing which will be in six weeks. You have NEVER contacted me by telephone making any such inquiry about a puppy Mr. Dan Yoder!!! The only time you ever called my home was to threaten to rip my face off after your girl friend provided you with my telephone number. I did not even know WHOM you were unilt AFTER your name came up on my caller ID and you made those threats against my life.
When I decided to go clean out some old email, I happened upon YOUR name DAN YODER and suddenly realized it was the same name was what was on my caller ID. [email protected]
It is very interesting Mr. Dan Yoder that your girlfriend, Sandra Johnson was blogging about the fact you were going to make a telephone call to threaten me and then after you did, she began to cover her internet tracks by deleting her facebook accounts; her blogger account and YOUR facebook account was mysteriously gone as well. What were the two of YOU hiding, Mr. Yoder of Lancaster PA ? It was already too late, however because right before she began deleting everything I already had people taking snapshots of your facebook account; your vehicle; your photos and obtaining your personal information in case you decided to make your threats against my life real.
I highly suggest that both you and your girlfriend, Sandra Faye Johnson, stop this nonsense on this website, and leave me and my family as well as my business, alone.
You have never contacted me whether by telephone or email about a puppy. However you DID call my home to threaten my life! You AND your girlfriend, Sandra Faye Johnson, are to cease and desist, posting your falsified content that continues to cause injury that is directed and aimed at me, my family, my spouse and me as a private breeder, here on this website no matter whom you and she she claim to be.
I highly recommend that the two of you to take heed now and forever to mind your own business and go peacefully into the sunset and retire somewhere either together or seperately and leave us alone here in the state of North Carolina because we do not want any contact with either one of you and Sandra Faye Johnson has been ordered by the State of North Carolina for at least six weeks to NOT have any electronic contact WHATSOEVER with me, my family OR my business.
