My experience working at Goodwill was totally opposite of yours, but I don't deny that you may have a legitimate and legal complaint (I worked at a different store in Ohio). The ADA and EEOC require that employers make reasonable accomodations for disabilitites, and your request certainly seems reasonable. Call the ACLU. They might handle your case pro bono.
