Google Adwords Google Adwords Stealing Money From Hard Working People Internet*NOTICE..!! this ripoff has nothing to do with Google search engine - many rip-off businesses use the Google name to fool consumers.
I was sent in the mail (USPS) a code for $100.00 for google adwords, for a campaign.
I bit reluctant, I went ahead and gave my credit info for the $5.95 activation fee. As this was not covered by the $100.00 they sent me. I used the $100 in about 1 month.
Today I got a charge for almost $30 on my bill. I looked at my google account and there is an outstanding balance for almost $50.
None of these charges were OK'd by me. They never even said anything about them.
I tried to call and... "We are not accepting calls at this time". It is impossible to find an email address anywhere on the internet, to send them an email about it.
I have my ideas as to what is going on but I want to keep strictly to the facts.
I wrote this is so maybe someone will see this who is contemplating using one of these "Free" adwords campaigns. DO NOT!
