Google Treasure Chest Beware of the $1.97 Scam, These People are Ethical Sandy Utah
*NOTICE..!! this ripoff has nothing to do with Google search engine - many rip-off businesses use the Google name to fool consumers.

Like so many other people looking to make money from home, my husband sent in for the DVD on how to make money from home. It was very enticing since all you were paying for was shipping for $1.97.
It took about 10 days to receive it and in the meantime, you had only 7 days to cancel from the time of ordering or they would charge your credit card $72.21. Needless to say they did. They state that they send you an e-mail after you order but, Gee, we never received it! How convenient...
Well, when I saw the charge on our credit card I immediately called them only to find out that they said it was in their terms and conditions upon ordering the DVD. How fortunate for them because most people (which is our own issue of trusting others) don't read the terms all the way through. Believe me, we will now. Now they are telling me that it will take 7 - 10 business days to receive the refund.
Beware of companies like this that take advantage of people looking to better their life. Of course I know that not all companies are like this because I have had success with a couple of others, but we have now learned that if it sounds too good to be true ($1.97) then it probably is!
By the way, in my opinion, the information on the DVD is very minimal and not even worth the $1.97.

I'm glad I checked this site before actually deciding to put my credit card information on that "google" scam site. I really need money because I am out of a job, searching, but having a hard time finding a good pay to pay off my debts and flexible with my school schedule. I saw that you commented that other internet companies (I guess at home-based) that you know and had success with them. I was hoping maybe you could give me their names or websites so that I could further do research on them. That would really help me out a lot if they still exist, are succesful, pay well, at home based, and perhaps you are still working for them. Thanks for sharing the info. Have a good day.
