Got Furniture ripoff DISHONEST DECEITFUL UNPROFESSIONAL and SIMPLY RUDE! Peoria Arizona
On July 20, 2006 - I went into Got Furniture, from a book selected a sectional with 3 recliners and received the measurements. When I went home I found it would be too large for the room. The next morning, I called to get a firm price on the 2 recliner sectional that was displayed on their Internet Home Website (It was offered for $999.00).
I wanted to upgrade the upholstery (which over the phone I was told they would do for free). And I also wanted to confirm the zero tax, also offered over the phone. So I wanted to confirm the price would be for the advertised price of $999.00.
I continued to call: July 28, Aug 4 and Aug 8 - Each time they were vague and I began questioning if they even wanted to sell me the sectional. They would state that Jon (the salesman) was not there and they didn't want to confuse or misquote a price. Each time they said they would leave the message for Jon to call me back, which NEVER happened.
The last time I called, Aug 8 - Jeremy (the owner he said) called back with an extremely elevated price now of $1499.00 and said I should have bought it sooner! That their price on their website had gone up (which they found the error when verifying my price).
Now, the pieces fit, they were delaying and literally ignoring my calls until they could get their "Web-man" to change the price on their Website.
How LOW... rather than trying to work out a FAIR price for both of us, they ignored my phone calls & my requests for a quote as they scrambled to change the price on their website.
When I questioned if this is how they do business... Jeremy went ballistic, stated I was not to tell him how to run HIS business. Then when I questioned if I should do business with them, he actually beligerently stated that he hoped I would not do business with them EVER! Wow, who does business like this?
This company, GOT FURNITURE was nothing less than deceitful, sneaky, dishonorable, sly, and dishonest concerning their approach to their business with me. Jeremy's approach and handling of these dealings was completely unprofessional with no personal or business integrity.
Think twice BEFORE doing ANY business with GOT FURNITURE!
