I placed an order online in February 2009 for one of these and the web site had an offer to buy one and get a second one free. I am VERY computer literate but this website was very tricky and misleading. When I reached the end of the ordering process it never showed a subtotal until AFTER you placed your order. My order for one snuggie at $14.95 turned into an order of $97.55!!!!!

The message on their screen states that you must wait 48-72 hours for your order to appear in their system. After I saw the amount of $97.55 I immediately began calling the automated number to cancel my order but it never appeared in their system. I also called and spoke to an individual who assured me that if it still didn't appear in their system after two or three weeks of my attempts to cancel that I should be in the clear. I continued to call and after several weeks, I assumed my order would never reach them. I was wrong!

Several months passed and on May 20 I showed the unauthorized charge to my account in the amount of $97.55! I immediately called my bank, cancelled my debit card and was provided a toll-free number for the merchant 1-800-366-6937. I called the merchant and to my surprise, it was for the order I attempted to place AND CANCEL back in February 2009. THREE MONTHS LATER they charged my account for this unauthorized purchase.

I contacted Customer Service at the toll-free number and they assured me that I placed the order on 5/18/09 to which I assured them I attempted this purchase in February and began calling immediately to cancel and it never appeared in their system until now. I advised the individual this was fraudulent and asked to be refunded. I was told originally that they would refund me $47 in shipping charges and upon my return of the merchandise I would receive credit for the remainder of the charges but I would have to pay the return shipping for the product!!!!!!!!!

After a lengthy dispute with the company, they agreed to refund me the entire amount and I could keep the product that was already in the mail. This incident occurred today and I anxiously await the reimbursement and hope they follow through.

Time will tell!

My advice to anyone who desires to purchase this product, DON'T DO IT!
