I was not sure if I wanted to join this university. I was scared that their Liberal Arts Degree would be a contradictory program. But after your comment, I realize now that this is not a university with close-minded professors. I'm glad I found this article. I feel sorry for your way of thinking, but whatever makes you happy!
Thank you again for this report.

Christianity is accepting of all people- Christianity is love, kindness, and forgiveness, not hating people? Christ loved all- do you understand this? He loved ALL. You are not a true Christian but a self-righteous hypocrit who will never make it in the world of counseling. You give Christianity a BAD name and make me want to convert to Islam or join al qaeda. You are a poor example of a Christian.

To the credit of Grand Canyon University, I finally received a full refund for the course in question. Obtainig this refund, however, was not an easy process. I had to mail letters to the Provost, President, Vice President, etc. in order to make this happen. Upon receipt of the letter, I was contacted by the Regional Director of the school, who completely understood my disgust, frustration and, most importantly, my Christian viewpoint. In fact, the Regional Director actually begged me to return to classes at GCU, which I declined, as I cannot attend a "Christian" university that would allow this fiasco to happen to begin with. Since this fiasco, I have found a wonderful school, where my Christian viewpoints are cherished, and I can complete my program of study in 2 years, compared to the 3 years required by GCU. I would highly recommend God-fearing, Bible-believing Christians to shop different schools rather than choosing GCU. There are other, true Christian schools out there! Trust me, I found one!!! :)

If you are not looking for a conservative, God-fearing, Christian school, then Grand Canyon is where you need to be. As a matter of fact, these "Christians" do not even adhere to the Bible, the inspired Word of God. So, if you want to go to a school that claims to be "Christian", even though it is clearly not, then Grand Canyon is your place. If you are a conservative Christian like myself, however, Grand Canyon is the place to avoid!

Knowing that your views were not tolerated has convinced me to enroll in their graduate program. I was a little hesitant at first seeing how GCU is a Christian univesity, but knowing their professors don't tolerate hate or discrimination has truly swayed me.
