Complaint Review: Grand canyon university - Phoenix Arizona

 Ive been substitute teaching for the past 4 yrs.  Always wanted to go back to school.   For the last year and a half Nicke wilson has  bombarded my email address and phone message system with messages about  joining your university.  Then after I posted my biography to the class  she vanished.  Never received another email or phone call return.  The  first week I started school i was a late bloomer.  Nicke happened to be  on vacation and so was Andrea Hernandez.  A advisor that was suppose to  be supporting me with my educational endeavors.  So i understand that.   Then I was told by Lauren which is Andrea supv. that if she A. Hernandez cant be reached than she would be glad to help me. 

That was misinformation. Getting a phone call returned was hard. Finally after calling and calling I finally got a phone  call returned from Laurin Newman.  Now Lauren explain that I will be  getting a letter from academic compliance, (I never rec. a letr).  she  offered to give me the # and I took it.  I then talked to a Raven with  academic compliance.  she said she doesnt know what they are talking  about because there is no flags or holds on my account.  It took forever for me to get a phone call back from Lauren, she said she was in  meetings so thats understandable. 

I told her how she has me jumping  hoops and that Raven with academic compliance said that there is no  Athena that works in her dept. and that she is not sure what Lauren is talking about.  I  asked Raven since i cant reach lauren can she email, call, text, just  reach her for me.  She obliged.  Next thing i know lauren calls back  with a story about I need to talk to the manager, Athena cant rem her  last name but her # is 602-639-7752.  She called me back asap.  finally a fast call return.  Athena (im not sure if im spelling her name correct) said that I failed to disclose info during my application and that a  minor traffice offense which she claims the school is calling it a  misdemeanor and that kicks me out the school, when i went online to  discuss with my instructor i can no longer post to class. 

Also Between  Cammie, the instructor and russ these were the only helpers besides the  switchboard operators.  Your school mentions integrity and christianity  and that GCU is committing to helping the students be sucessful.  You  need to rethink that phrase.  In the whole 5 weeks, i have never witness a  bunch of rude woman who only thing Nicke Wilson the enrollment counselor cared about was getting me in the school. And getting her commission after she got me in. After she completed that she lost my number and would not return my calls.  Also whenever I call the other counselors explained I need to talk to Lauren, how come other  folkes cant help me with my account, that is there job, and if Athena is the manager in the compliance department how come Raven in compliance  department didnt have any info on me.

  My complaint is i worked hard for 6 weeks, busted my behind and during the last two weeks im being told that i can no longer attend the school because i failed to disclose information.  I will do a google review, I plan  on getting or seeking legal help toward this matter.  For the last 6  weeks (and did i mention this is my first 7 weeks, only people that  helped me was Cammie, Woody Mason my instructor, and the switch board operators.  The  supervisors lauren did not know her job so she had to pass the buck and give me more hoops to jump thru and forwarded my # to Athena at 602-639-7752.  And not only will i not be getting my financial aid but they said i will owe the school monies, whatever the financial aid doesnt cover, i have read several complaints on this website alone about the same financial aid issue.  I feel that we should come together with a class action law suite and sue gcu.  Any body ready?
